Animal Cruelty

As of 2006 there were no laws in China governing acts of cruelty to animals.[2] In certain jurisdictions such as Fuzhou, dog control officers may kill any unaccompanied dogs on sight. While still illegal, it appears that dog fighting is gaining popularity. Afghanistan Dog fighting is widely practiced in much of Latin America, especially in Argentina, Peru and many parts of Brazil (where dog fights are illegal). The American Pit Bull Terrier is by far the most common breed involved in the bloodsport. The Fila Brasileiro and Dogo Argentino are also used as fighting dogs. The Dogo Cubano and dogo cordoba were used for fighting a century ago, but have become extinct. Indian gypsies continue to poach Sloth Bear cubs from jungles to raise them to dance for people. They put a nose ring and a metal muzzle on the bear's snout, which are attached to a staff which makes them dance. This causes great distress and pain to the bear's teeth, muzzle, nose, and mouth. Siberian tribal peoples capture cubs for use as dancing bears. This practice continues to this day. A tame bear, often called a dancing bear, are wild-born bears that were captured when the animals are young, though some of them are born and bred in captivity. In some parts of the world, like South Asia and the Middle East, poor people still use them for road side tourist attractions. Michael Cimino's legendary flop Heaven's Gate, in which numerous animals were brutalized and even killed during production. Cimino allegedly killed chickens and bled horses from the neck to gather samples of their blood to smear on actors for Heaven's Gate, and also allegedly had a horse blown up with dynamite while shooting a battle sequence 53% of those dolphins who survive the violent capture die within 90 days. The average life span of a dolphin in the wild is 45 years; yet half of all captured dolphins die within their first two years of captivity. The survivors last an average of only 5 years in captivity. Every seven years, half of all dolphins in captivity die from capture shock, pneumonia, intestinal disease, ulcers, chlorine poisoning, and other stress-related illnesses. To the captive dolphin industry, these facts are accepted as routine operating expenses. They put a nose ring and a metal muzzle on the bear's snout, which are attached to a staff which makes them dance. This causes great distress and pain to the bear's teeth, muzzle, nose, and mouth.

Animal Cruelty
Since the dawn of mankind, we have domesticated over fifty different species of animal. Over time, we have altered their environments causing damage to the earths delicate eco- system and inflicted unnecessary cruelty and abuse, in some cases mankind has made some species extinct through over hunting and barbaric cruelty. We have shortened the life expectancy for a number of different animals from our harmful ways. Our so-called civilization have murdered innocent creatures of the earth. We have tortured, beaten and abused animals for our own enjoyment. Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi all spoke up for oppressed people everywhere. But who will speak up for the animals when they have no voice themselves? Who will protect the rights of these innocent creatures? Who will stop the nightmarish damage of abuse? Who will fight for those who cannot fight? Time is running out, it is our generation, our people, our duty, that must stop the needless suffering. Every seven years, half of all dolphins in captivity die from capture shock, pneumonia, intestinal disease, ulcers, chlorine poisoning and other stress-related illnesses. This year, a Monte Carlo Circus had transported wild performing animals from Egypt to Lebanon without providing any food or water.
