FOR YOUR INFORMATION Unless indicated, these programs are included with your $1.50 Daily Activities Contribution Wednesday, May 2nd, 10am: Mini-Trip to Lehman College Art Gallery. We will see the works of contemporary Bronx artist and high school art teacher, Michael Ferris, Jr. Late lunch back at the Center. Plus: Mosholu Montefiore Senior Cinema presents a film for you enjoyment. FREE popcorn! Film to be announced. Thursday, May 3rd: West Side Story at New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Buffet lunch at the theatre prior to the show. Dont miss seeing this classic musical during the 50th anniversary year. By reservation only, $82 to $88. Call the center for more information. Friday, May 4th: 9:00am-12:30pm; Flea Market. Treasures galore! Proceeds to benefit the Golden Welcome Club and the Senior Center. Wednesday, May 9th, MOSHOLU MONTEFIORE SENIOR CENTER ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE , 10am-2pm. Demonstration classes, art exhibit, Health and Resource Fair, raffles and more! Special entertainment by Roots&Branches Theater Company, 1pm. Roots&Branches presents their complete production, Lets Eatan original work with music and humor, developed and performed by an intergenerational cast. Thursday, May 10th: Mini-trip to Bronx Botanical Gardens, 10am. Travel to the beautifully cultivated gardens and walk the grounds, or pay the additional fee ($18 for seniors) to see the fabulous Orchid Show in the Conservatory. $5, includes grounds-only entrance, transportation and lunch back at the Center. Friday, May 11th: 9:00am-12:30pm; Flea Market. Treasures galore! Proceeds to benefit the Open Door Club and the Senior Center Monday, May 14th, Mothers Day Luncheon, honoring all women in our Center. After-lunch entertainment by Jorge y Familia. Plus: Legal Clinic with attorney Eric Schryver, 1pm. Call for appointment. Wednesday, May 16th ,10am: Whitney Museum Trip, for participants in our Whitney Art-Making Series. Space is limited. Please register in advance to ensure you will be included!
