Introduction:

Purpose The purpose of this document is to collect, analyze, and define high-level needs and features of I&SOT. It focuses on the capabilities needed by the stakeholders, and the target end users, and why these needs exist. The details of how the I&SOT fulfills these needs are detailed in the use-case and supplementary specifications. 1.2 Scope This vision document applies toI&SOT project, which is a step to provide a web-based portal to efficiently complete day to day activities. I&SOT target to an Auto-mobile distribution Agency in District Attock. And helps the different Participant of this system to submit their orders, analyze them through an interactive web Application, without bearing the headache of manual tasks. The I&SOT provides web portal .Web-portal gives an interactive UI to place orders on the customer end while giving textual and graphical reports to the administrative end, Day-to-Day income used to build ledgers on monthly basis which helps keep track the income and expense as well as provide a Purchase Management System(PMS). 1.3 Definitions, Acronyms, and Abbreviations: I&SOT:I&S Oil Traders Inventory Management system:An inventory control system is a process for managing and locating objects or materials. Overview:

A I&SOT is anonline Oil distribution management system used tomanage a series of tasks within an organization to produce final outcome/outcomes. I&SOT help optimal Purchase, Sales and Inventory management processes. I&SOT is entirely web based and accessed through web browser. Support for inventory management helps to record and track materials on the basis of both quantity and value.And to keep in track all the necessary information relating to the customers as well as generate valuable reports which help system participants to made business decision. 2. 2.1 Business Opportunity: Management of Purchases, Sales and Inventory is the key necessity of organization. Management means to keep an eye on in in purchased items, in-stock items and sold ones relating information to make future business decisions. The main purpose of I&SOT is to provide user efficient working environment so that more output can be generated through this. Secondly we are making online system which gives wide range of operational capability. Thirdly we are reducing manual work for system Participants having little computer knowledge to place their orders and can view their transections online. I&SOT also provide the facility on administrative side to manage system resources. 2.2 Problem Statement: The problem of Inventory details and relevant information are in various registers. Looking in various registers to find and enter each and every mandatory detail.Every register need to be updated to make the records up to date. To manage these different registers is a laborious job. System Participants. Agency employees and the customers as they want to accomplish more task and communicate easily and more efficiently. An online system that completes the work in a very less time and gives high level of efficiency to accomplish day to day activities.

Product Perspective: Our resulting project works using the .Net framework and can integrated with other applications. I&SOT is a step towards easily and automatedPurchase, Sales and Inventory driven activities. It manages company resources and generatesa detailed and informational report which gives a clear overview of resources.IP place their order through interactive UI. 4 I&SOT Features List: Key modules of our project are online PMM, SMM and IMM. 4.1 o o o IMMAimed to provide easy user interface (UI) to system participants, it provides: Easy UI thats allows IP to place, edit, delete orders through their web browser. Reducing the effort of writing and updating order related information in various registers by using the well-structured mechanism. Extensive reporting is available in the system, like Item Quantity presents how many items are in inventory, Item Reordering, Items Issued, Issue and Return History, Sales and Purchase. There are also available Balance Sheets of Available vs. Issued and Sales vs. Purchases. With Reporting there are provided features like searching, printing and exporting as well. User management on administrative side i.e. creates, delete and update users. Backend database provide the basic architecture of information storage, retrieval of searched data, removal, and modification. Items can be issued to a list of user, returned from the user, consumed internally in the system. Items can also be sold by the Inventory System.

Item contain several statuses like working, not-working, out for warranty, out for repair, or consumed. System automatically updates items status against particular action. Manage Customer Information. Manage Product Priority. Gives a feedback of system via automatic document attachment enabled emailing and SMS.

PMM Aimed to provide easy user interface (UI) to system participants, it provides: Allows System administrator to made transection relating purchasing items. Track record of any items which are returning back to the company from where they are purchased. Keeping and managing financial Statements. Tracking record of all product issues. SMM provides: Tracking records of all warranty claimed or other product issues. Generate monthly financial ledgers. Keeping an eye on all items sold by the IMM. Manage all sold items issue priority. Gives a feedback via System enabled emailing and SMS.

Also facilitate user to create their personal accounts so that they can view their order list delivered, pending and also their relationship with the Agency.

Technical Architecture Its is builds on Asp.Net 3.5 with C#. The application is using Reporting features as well is AJAX enabled. Three-Tier Architecture is implemented on the application; front view is separated from the business logic and data access. Interface, business logic and data access features are segregated from each other; there is high cohesion and low coupling through which maintenance of application is very easy. Backend database is SQL 2008. The application is easily maintainable and extensible.
