Senior Implementation/ Trainer Specialist with Kindred Healthcare, Inc in Louisville, KY. Provided extensive implementation, training and Go Live Support on various healthcare software systems which included: TheraSys Pro/Point of Care (Rehab proprietary software) Protouch (Hospital proprietary EMR software) SAP R/3 HR/Payroll (PA20, PA30, PA40) Kronos Workforce Central 6.0 and Scheduling Module SAP R/3 FI/CO (all accounts payable transactions) RightFax Trained corporate employees on how to use Cisco VOIP phone system. Sum Total Learning Management System versions 7.1 and 8.2 Meditech ADT 5.4 Salesforce.com. Trained Clinical Liaisons on how to enter contacts, leads and tasks into database. Mobile Admission Referral Application (Hospital and Nursing Center proprietary software that clinical liaisons used to enter a referral on a potential patient, then would interface with the admission software) Tablet training for Hospital and Nursing Center Clinical Liaisons. The tablet provided a portable solution that could be carried with the Clinical Liaison and used with an air card to get onto the Kindred network to provide access to their email and applications. Conversion of Hospital and Nursing Center computers from Windows95 to Windows2000. Training for these various systems included group presentations using Power-point presentations, 1 on 1 training and training using various distance learning platforms such as Evoke and WebEx. Knowledge on Instructional Design, preparing and reviewing PowerPoint Presentations for Trainers to use in formal presentations. General knowledge of Camtasia for recording and editing presentations to be published to company URLs.

In addition, my extensive implementation includes: Extensive travel to various Kindred locations throughout the United States (80100% travel). Flexibility and adaptability to an ever-changing environment and schedule changes. Communications to clients for upcoming training and implementation dates and documents relating to these implementation activities. Flexibility and adaptability to be able to train all hospital staff (including Nursing, Physicians, C.N.A., Pharmacy, Radiology, Lab, Rehab, Business Office, Medical Records, etc) on the use of Kindreds Proprietary EMR System o Some of the Highlighted areas we provided training for included: Training Physicians on entering Electronic Orders Training Nurses, Pharmacists, Respiratory Therapists, and Rehab Staff on how to enter electronic orders from written paper orders or telephone orders. Training nursing staff on the documenting medication administrations, admission and daily assessment, starting and up keeping care plans, documenting critical lab values, Medication Reconciliation on admission, transfer to a different level of care and discharge. Retrieval skills of how to access documents within the patients medical record Provide onsite Go Live Support for all hospital staff for an EMR Go Live Trouble shooting problems/issues with software and hardware. Setup training databases and exercises prior to training and troubleshooting issues with Kindreds corporate support center staff. Training for software use presented to small and large groups thru the use of Power Point presentations, demonstrations, and exercises. Provided 1 on 1 training for staff requiring additional help following any type of group presentation. Follow up support during the Go-Live process Participate in the turn over to support process. Recording training presentations using Evoke Distance Learning and Camtasia Recording studio software Participate in Kirkpatrick Level 1 surveys using Survey Monkey following various training activities for participant feedback. Imaged hard drives from Windows95 to Windows2000. Installed hard drives, RAM, software applications, mapped network drives and printers on end users computers, trouble shoot WAN/LAN connectivity issues. Provided on site support for first payroll processing using Kronos Workforce Central. Provided on site support after conversion from Windows95 to Windows2000.
