The lectures and books listed below are beneficial in MY OPINION. Keep in mind that you are limited in the English language when it comes to Islamic studies. So one should understand them and memorize them if possible. Shaikh Saleh As-Saleh has done a very beneficial explanation of those 40 Ahadeeth based off of Shaikh Ibn Uthaymeens lectures. The author has based the books on Classical text and has presented the Creed of Ahlusunnah in an easy to understand format. It can be purchased here http://www.onlineislamicstore.com/a5107.html Advice: In one of Shaikh Ali Tamimis lectures someone in the audience asked about what books to study in aqeedah, he recommended some books and then he told him after reading books of Aqeedah you should move one to reading the books of ahadith so you can find the ahadith dealing with aqeedah and try to understand them. As always it is best if you can study with a teacher and if not then make sure you dont get your doubts get to your head.
