IMPORTANCE OF WATER
Water is life, Life is water both synonymous to each other without water there is no life on Earth. Water is used for Domestic, Industrial and agricultural purposes. Water is abundant on Earth. Water is an invaluable Natural resource Water along with air and food is one of the basic elements necessary for the human existence. Earth appears as blue ball when viewed from outer source. The reason for this phenomenon is that total quantity of water available on earth,96.5% is in oceans which covers 75% of the Earths surface.

More than 70% of the total body weight of many living Beings constitutes Water. 2Billion people in the world lack access of safe drinking water. This Causes for endemicity of most water born dieseases like cholera, typhoid, infections, Diarrhea Etc. Water quality however is not felt yet, 45% of the population was using pond, river , open dug well water for drinking purposes. The analysis shows that 29% of samples collected from various water sources were contaminated and unfit for drinking. If clean safe water was made available for the worlds population 80% of the sickness and diseases would be prevented.
