JOB CONTEXT
Handicap International is an independent and impartial international Humanitarian organisation working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. Working alongside persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, our action and testimony are focused on responding to their essential needs, improving their living conditions and promoting respect for their dignity and their fundamental rights. Handicap International is present in Pakistan since 2005, in response to the earthquake. From then, Handicap International has implemented firstly emergency activities, leading to a longer term strategy implemented since then. Handicap International has been working in the province of Sindh and particularly in Thatta district since the floods of 2010. The postemergency activities are still ongoing. Given its operational presence in the affected area, its background knowledge and experience in emergency response, Handicap International is launching an emergency intervention to respond to the urgent needs of people affected by this new disaster.

GLOBAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION The Team Leader-Construction is responsible for full construction of Slow Sand Filter in Abdul Sattar Shah Water Supply Scheme with fullest participation for Water Committee and community in Abdul Sattar Shah. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS DESCRIPTION
1. Field activities: Arrange and mobilize the materials for the construction work with the support of PO-Watsan and Logistic department. Prepare delivery note and ensure timely delivery of construction materials to the site. Ensure the proper storage of materials delivered to the site. Supervise the construction work and mason and helpers engaged on the construction. Train the water committee on operation and maintenance of Slow Sand Filter with the support of WATSAN Project Officer and WASH PM. Train and educate the community on operation and maintenance of WATA Chlorination kit with support of WATSAN PO and PM. Ensure the time and work plan of SSF construction are respected and followed properly. 2. Reporting: Prepare and share the weekly progress report. Assess and report the capacity of Water Committee and needed support to enhance their capacity. Provide the inputs to PO and WASH PM to prepare the monthly internal and donor report.
