Russian Federation, Greece, Iraq, Lebanon, Colombia, Indonesia, Ghana Topic: Implementation of the internationally-agreed upon goals and commitments regarding education The General Assembly, Alarmed by the fact that 69 million school-age children worldwide are not in school, Keeping in mind that 49 million of these children are from Sub-Saharan Africa and southern Asia, Emphasizing the importance of properly implementing the internationally agreed upon goals, Recognizing the importance of national sovereignty of each nation, Keeping in mind that any children that are provided a free meal at school means that the parents do not have to work as hard to provide enough for food, Noting the impact programs such as the EFA Fast-Track initiative, the United Nations Girls Education Initiative, the Global Campaign fir Education, the International ask Force on Teachers for the EPA and the Inter-Agency Standing Committee Cluster for Education in Emergencies have had, Taking into consideration the fact that each region has different needs, so the businesses can integrate into the region,

The General Assembly, 1. Requests the creation of an international aid fund that countries can request access to in order to improve education; a. Recognizes that nations must present a plan before any form of aid can be withdrawn; b. Requests the donations of money from businesses and countries through tax incentives; c. Stresses that nations agree to have the requested funds monitored by the UN so as to make sure the money is spent on education ;

d. Notes that funding will be tracked by paid United Nations personnel; 2. Encourages an expansion of the World Food Programmes School Meal Program to incentivize students and teachers to attend primary and secondary schools; a. Calls upon donations from countries and businesses as well as NGOs so as to provide food to these nations as well as education of non-school-age citizens to continue future education; b. Takes Note that nations who are already fully developed do not need a free meals program; 3. Emphasizes that schools can also be provided some form of healthcare in order to improve the lives of their students if requested; 4. Expresses its hope that businesses be incentivized to extend jobs to nations where aid is requested to incentivize children and young adults to attend school in order to achieve these higher educated jobs; a. Requests that each nation allows other companies into their nation;

5. Designates nations to be allowed to create their own curriculum to be approved by the United Nations; 6. Supports education on the primary, secondary, and post-secondary level as well as the education of teachers; 7. Encourages each region to have a specified plan of action so as to provide an effective approach for each specific nation and region; 8. Endorses the creation of such programs as Bethane Hewan in Ethiopia through the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to encourage gender equality in education.
