Day 1 Theme: Establishing a Learning Environment Instant Activity: Different Spots and Activities Students find a colored spot on the gym floor that has a certain exercise on it and number pertaining to the number of repetitions for that exercise. The students do what is asked of them on the card then move to a different dot and do what is asked of them there. 1. Review: expectations and rules 2. Focus on: a. Rules and expectations b. Routines c. Safety Day 2 Theme: Space Awareness: Where the Body Moves Instant Activity: Level Tag Children walk in and spread out around the gym floor. Five students will be picked to be it. The first level is speed walking, once the children demonstrate that they can controllably go at this speed without running into people they will move to the next levels. The other two levels are galloping, skipping, and then running. The game progresses like a continuous tag game. If the kids are tagged then they are it as well. 1. Review: expectations and rules 2. Focus on: a. Self space b. General space c. Concept of Directions Day 3 Theme: Space Awareness: Where the Body Moves Instant Activity: Hula Hoop Together The children will enter and spread out around the gym careful not to touch the hula-hoops that are scattered across the floor. The students will skip and weave around the room and around the hoops. They cannot step in, on or over the hoop or bump any body else. After 15 seconds the teacher will say stop and they children will have 3 second to put their foot in a BLUE hoop without pushing or shoving. There may be more than 1 student per hoop. Students will begin skipping again and the teacher will stop them and call a different color hoop to have the students put their foot in. 1. Review: self space, general space, and directions. 2. Day 4 Theme: Effort: How the Body Moves Instant Activity: Sharks and Minnows The children will enter and two students will be chosen to be the sharks and the rest of the class will be the minnows. The students will run across the gym trying to get away from the two student taggers. Once a student is tagged he or she will become a shark. Once every student is a shark the game is over. 1. Review: self space, general space, and directions. 2. Focus on: a. Concept of Time, fast b. Concept of Time, slow Day 5 Theme: Effort: How the Body Moves Instant Activity: Everybodys It The children will spread out through the area of the gym. Every student is it and each student tries to tag the other student. When a student is tagged, he or she will start doing a physical activity. Example either jumping jacks, holding a plank, sit-ups or push-ups. 1. Review: concept of time 2. Focus on: a. Concept of Force, strong b. Concept of Force, light Day 6 Theme: Effort: How the Body Moves Instant Activity: Stacker Mania Kids walk in and divided into two groups, up-stalkers and down-stalkers. There will be cups spread randomly throughout the general space in stacks of three. The up-stackers move around the activity area "building" as many different three cup pyramids as they can in a given time period. The down-stackers work against the up-stackers by moving around the room, with a given locomotor skill directed by the teacher, and down-stacking all of the pyramids they can get to in the given time period. Students must use their hands when down-stacking. Switch. 1. Review: concept of force 2. Focus on: a. Concept of Flow, bound b. Concept of Flow, free

Day 7 Theme: Relationships Instant Activity: Simon Says with PA The students come in a spread out with enough self-space and with the ability to still see the teacher. The teacher will give cues and actions while either saying Simon say or not saying that. If they say Simon says the students must do that action and if they dont say it than the kids avoid doing the action or cue. 1. Review: concept of flow 2. Focus on: a. Concept of relationships of body parts, narrow and wide b. Concept of relationships of body parts, symmetrical and nonsymmetrical c. Concept of relationships of body parts, twisted and rounded Day 8 Theme: Relationships Instant Activity: Bridges and Stones Class is divided into two groups. One-group finds a good self-space somewhere around the gym floor and make bodies into a bridge. The other group tries to go under as many of the bridges as possible in a certain time limit. Students can make different levels and shape of bridges. Switch. 1. Review: concept of relationships of body parts 2. Focus on: a. Concept of relationships with objects: over/under, near/far, along/through b. Concept of relationships with objects: on and off and around c. Concept of relationships with objects: in front/behind and alongside Day 9 Theme: Relationships Instant Activity: Pac Man with PA The students walk in and find a line, any line on the gym floor. Four students will be chosen to be the Pac man. The rest of the students need to stay away from these four students without getting off the lines. Once they are tagged they sit on the line and are now roadblock for anybody else. 1. Review: concept of relationships with objects 2. Focus on: a. Concept of relationships with people: matching/mirroring b. Concept of relationships with people: unison/contrast c. Concept of relationships with people: leading/following

Day 10 Theme: Traveling Instant Activity: Sharks and Minnows The children will enter and two students will be chosen to be the sharks and the rest of the class will be the minnows. The students will run across the gym trying to get away from the two student taggers. Once a student is tagged he or she will become a shark. Once every student is a shark the game is over. 1. Review: concept of relationships with people 2. Focus on: a. Running and galloping in obstacles courses b. Running and galloping in different pathways c. Running and galloping in different speeds Day 11 Theme: Traveling Instant Activity: Foot Locomotion The students walk in a spread out around the floor. The teacher will have several foot cutouts with different locomotion skills and traveling routes and pathways. The teacher will call out the locomotion and show the pathway while the students perform it. The teacher will then freeze the class and continue to the next card. 1. Review: running and galloping 2. Focus on: a. Hopping and leaping in a general space b. Hopping and leaping in different directions c. Hopping and leaping in different pathways Day 12 Theme: Traveling Instant Activity: Pac Man with PA The students walk in and find a line, any line on the gym floor. Four students will be chosen to be the Pac man. The rest of the students need to stay away from these four students without getting off the lines. Day 13 Theme: Fitness/ Wellness Concepts Instant Activity: Bumper Ball with Soccer balls Each student walks in and grabs a soccer ball. This game is like everybodys it, in which all the kids have to dribble a soccer ball around and try to knock the ball from the other kids control by knocking ball to ball. 1. Review: traveling 2. Focus on: a. Mental and Emotional Health b. Personal and Social Responsibility Day 14 Theme: Chasing, fleeing, and dodging Instant Activity: #4 Tag Every student is giving a number (1-4) except for four students. Two of these four students will be the taggers two will be the savers. The savers will un-freeze the students that are tagged by the taggers. In terms of the other students they will run around trying not to get tagged. If they do get tagged, depending on their number they will do a different exercise. The ones will do jumping jacks, the number twos will do sit-ups, the number threes will do push-ups, and the number fours will do mountain climbers. 1. Review: Fitness/ Wellness Concepts 2. Focus on: a. Chasing and fleeing with a partner b. Chasing and fleeing with groups c. Chasing and fleeing in a football game setting Day 15 Theme: Chasing, fleeing, and dodging Instant Activity: Football Tag Select 2 students to be taggers. Select 2 more students to start the game carrying a football. Taggers will attempt to tag other students (the rest of the students without footballs). If tagged, students must freeze and place their hands in the hand-off position (in front of stomach with palm-up on the bottom and palm-down on the top). Those with footballs will hand-off (gently place in between hands and against stomach) to those that are frozen to get them back in play. When free they will hold ball correctly and move to find another student who is frozen and hand-off to them. Change positions often. 1. Review: chasing and fleeing 2. Focus on: a. Dodging stationary objects b. Dodging obstacles c. Dodging with non stationery objects

Day 16 Theme: Chasing, fleeing, and dodging Instant Activity: Sharks and Minnows The children will enter and two students will be chosen to be the sharks and the rest of the class will be the minnows. The students will run across the gym trying to get away from the two student taggers. Once a student is tagged he or she will become a shark. Once every student is a shark the game is over. 1. Review: chasing, fleeing, dodging 2. Focus on: a. Chasing, dodging, and fleeing with a partner b. Dodging obstacles c. Chasing, dodging, and fleeing in a football game setting Day 17 Theme: Jumping and Landing Instant Activity: Rip off Rescue Students walk in and are handed a flag of one color, there will be two colored flags. They attached those to their hips and one color is on one side the other color is on the other. There is a bucket in the center of the playing area. The objective is to get the flags of the opposite team and put them in the bucket. If your flag is taken you sit where you got tagged and wait until someone from your team goes to the bucket and brings you a flag, you put it on and your back in the game. The team with the most flags in the bucket at the end of the game wins. 1. Review: chasing, fleeing, dodging 2. Focus on: a. Jump take-off and landing b. Jumping for height c. Jumping for distance Day 18 Theme: Jumping and Landing Instant Activity: Frogs and Lilly Pads The students enter the gym where there are poly spots all over and cones mark the pond. The students should find a poly spot and stand on it. When the teacher says so there goal is to jump from one poly spot to the next, which means they must wait to see an open lily pad. 1. Review: jumping and landing 2. Focus on: a. Jumping over a swinging rope b. Jumping over low obstacles c. Jumping rhythmically

Day 19 Theme: Jumping and Landing Instant Activity: Different Spots and Activities Students find a colored spot on the gym floor that has a certain exercise on it and number pertaining to the number of repetitions. Jumping a self-turned rope c. Jumping rhythmically Day 20 Theme: Rolling Instant Activity: Individual Jump Roping Kids walk in and grab an individual jump rope that are scattered on the floor. They will continue to skip rope until the teacher says so. 1. Review: jumping 2. Focus on: a. Rolling sideways b. Rolling in a long, narrow position c. Rocking backward and forward Day 21 Theme: Rolling Instant Activity: Stacker Mania Kids walk in and divided into two groups, up-stalkers and down-stalkers. There will be cups spread randomly throughout the general space in stacks of three. The up-stackers move around the activity area "building" as many different three cup pyramids as they can in a given time period. Day 22 Theme: Balancing Instant Activity: Partner Hoop Course Divide the class into pairs. Each pair has 2 hoops. Have the pairs spread out in the gym or playing area. One student holds both hoops beside their body (one on each side) so the hoops are standing up and looks like "eyeglasses" or in front of them so they look like tunnels. The other partner stands in front of their partner waiting for the "go signal". On the teachers signal the students must go through each pair of hoops as quickly as possible. They must figure out the quickest way to do this without knocking any hoops over and then return to stand beside their partner. Once everyone has completed the course then partners switch positions and begin the hoops course again. 1. Review: rolling 2. Focus on: a. Balancing on different bases of support b. Tightening gymnastics muscles c. Balancing symmetrically and non-symmetrically Day 23 Theme: Balancing Instant Activity: Extreme rock-paper-scissors The students find a partner. The game is a more extreme version of rock-paper-scissors. The kids start out with their own feet one in front of the other and the front foot touching their partners foot. The students play several rounds. The loser of each round takes a step forward to meet the winners front foot, which is now a step back (length of foot). If in the next round the same person loses they take another step forward to meet the winners front foot, which has been moved back, but if that person wins they put their front foot behind their back foot and the other individuals reaches to reach the others front foot. The objective is so maintain your balance when your legs are spread out. 1. Review: rolling 2. Focus on: a. Balancing in different body shapes b. Balancing on equipment c. Traveling and stopping in balanced positions

Day 24 Theme: Transferring Weight Instant Activity: Partner Hoop Course Divide the class into pairs. Each pair has 2 hoops. Have the pairs spread out in the gym or playing area. Day 27 Theme: Kicking Instant Activity: Sharks and Minnows The children will enter and two students will be chosen to be the sharks and the rest of the class will be the minnows. The students will run across the gym trying to get away from the two student taggers. Once a student is tagged he or she will become a shark. Once every student is a shark the game is over. 1. Review: kicking 2. Focus on: a. Kicking for distance b. Kicking a rolling ball in a stationary position c. Kicking at targets Day 28 Theme: Kicking Instant Activity: Bumper Ball with Soccer balls Each student walks in and grabs a soccer ball. This game is like everybodys it, in which all the kids have to dribble a soccer ball around and try to knock the ball from the other kids control by knocking ball to ball. 1. Review: kicking 2. Day 30 Theme: Throwing and Catching Instant Activity: Meteor Shower Split the class into two even teams, and place them on opposite sides of the gym far away from each other. (You may want to establish a line that students can't cross) On each side of the gym there are two hockey goals. Students are given foam balls of different sizes. The object is to throw a ball into the net on the opposite side of the gym. Students have to stay on their side of the gym and cannot block the goal. 1. Review: throwing 2. Focus on: a. Throwing up against a wall b. Varying distance of throws and catches c. Throwing over or under obstacles Day 31 Theme: Throwing and Catching Instant Activity: Football Tag Select 2 students to be taggers. Select 2 more students to start the game carrying a football. Taggers will attempt to tag other students (the rest of the students without footballs). If tagged, students must freeze and place their hands in the hand-off position (in front of stomach with palm-up on the bottom and palm-down on the top). (You may want to establish a line that students can't cross) On each side of the gym there are two hockey goals. Students are given foam balls of different sizes. The object is to throw a ball into the net on the opposite side of the gym. Students have to stay on their side of the gym and cannot block the goal. 1. Review: dribbling 2. Focus on: a. Paddle balance b. Balancing a ball on the paddle c. Striking balloons Day 37 Theme: Striking with Rackets and Paddles Instant Activity: Pac Man with PA The students walk in and find a line, any line on the gym floor. Day 39 Theme: Striking with Hockey Sticks Instant Activity: Foot Locomotion The students walk in a spread out around the floor. The teacher will have several foot cutouts with different locomotion skills and traveling routes and pathways. The teacher will call out the locomotion and show the pathway while the students perform it. The teacher will then freeze the class and continue to the next card. 1. Review: striking with paddles 2. Focus on: a. Striking a large stationary object with a hockey stick b. Traveling slowly while striking an object with a hockey stick c. After 15 seconds the teacher will say stop and they children will have 3 second to put their foot in a BLUE hoop without pushing or shoving. There may be more than 1 student per hoop. Day 48 Theme: Effort: How the Body Moves Instant Activity: Stacker Mania Kids walk in and divided into two groups, up-stalkers and down-stalkers. There will be cups spread randomly throughout the general space in stacks of three. The up-stackers move around the activity area "building" as many different three cup pyramids as they can in a given time period. The down-stackers work against the up-stackers by moving around the room, with a given locomotor skill directed by the teacher, and down-stacking all of the pyramids they can get to in the given time period. Students must use their hands when down-stacking. 1. Review: concept of time, force, and flow 2. Focus on: a. Concept of Time b. Concept of Force c. Concept of Flow Day 49 Theme: Relationships Instant Activity: Simon Says with PA The students come in a spread out with enough self-space and with the ability to still see the teacher. The teacher will give cues and actions while either saying Simon say or not saying that. If they say Simon says the students must do that action and if they dont say it than the kids avoid doing the action or cue. 3. Review: concept of relationships 4. Focus on: a. Concept of relationships with people Day 50 Theme: Traveling Instant Activity: Pac Man with PA The students walk in and find a line, any line on the gym floor. Four students will be chosen to be the Pac man. The rest of the students need to stay away from these four students without getting off the lines. Once they are tagged they sit on the line and are now roadblock for anybody else. 1. Review: traveling: hopping, leaping, sliding, galloping, skipping, running 2. Focus on: a. Running and galloping in obstacles courses b. Hopping and leaping in different pathways c. Skipping and sliding in different directions

Day 51 Theme: Traveling Instant Activity: Everybodys It The children will spread out through the area of the gym. Every student is it and each student tries to tag the other student. When a student is tagged, he or she will start doing a physical activity. Example either jumping jacks, holding a plank, sit-ups or push-ups. 1. Review: traveling: hopping, leaping, sliding, galloping, skipping, running 2. Focus on: a. Running and galloping in different pathways b. Hopping and leaping in different pathways c. Skipping and sliding in different directions Day 52 Theme: Chasing, fleeing, and dodging Instant Activity: #4 Tag Every student is giving a number (1-4) except for four students. Two of these four students will be the taggers two will be the savers. The savers will un-freeze the students that are tagged by the taggers. In terms of the other students they will run around trying not to get tagged. If they do get tagged, depending on their number they will do a different exercise. The ones will do jumping jacks, the number twos will do sit-ups, the number threes will do push-ups, and the number fours will do mountain climbers. 3. Review: hopping and leaping 4. Focus on: a. Chasing and fleeing in a football game setting Day 53 Theme: Chasing, fleeing, and dodging Instant Activity: Football Tag Select 2 students to be taggers. Select 2 more students to start the game carrying a football. Taggers will attempt to tag other students (the rest of the students without footballs). If tagged, students must freeze and place their hands in the hand-off position (in front of stomach with palm-up on the bottom and palm-down on the top). Those with footballs will hand-off (gently place in between hands and against stomach) to those that are frozen to get them back in play. Day 54 Theme: Chasing, fleeing, and dodging Instant Activity: Sharks and Minnows The children will enter and two students will be chosen to be the sharks and the rest of the class will be the minnows. The students will run across the gym trying to get away from the two student taggers. Once a student is tagged he or she will become a shark. Once every student is a shark the game is over. 1. Review: chasing, fleeing, dodging 2. Focus on: a. Chasing, dodging, and fleeing with a partner b. Dodging obstacles c. Chasing, dodging, and fleeing in a football game setting Day 55 Theme: Fitness/ Wellness Concepts Instant Activity: Partner Hoop Course Divide the class into pairs. Each pair has 2 hoops. One student holds both hoops beside their body (one on each side) so the hoops are standing up and looks like "eyeglasses" or in front of them so they look like tunnels. The kids start out with their own feet one in front of the other and the front foot touching their partners foot. The students play several rounds. The loser of each round takes a step forward to meet the winners front foot, which is now a step back (length of foot). If in the next round the same person loses they take another step forward to meet the winners front foot, which has been moved back, but if that person wins they put their front foot behind their back foot and the other individuals reaches to reach the others front foot. The objective is so maintain your balance when your legs are spread out. 1. Review: rolling 2. Focus on: a. Balancing in different body shapes b. Balancing on equipment c. The object is to throw a ball into the net on the opposite side of the gym. Students have to stay on their side of the gym and cannot block the goal. 1. Review: throwing 2. Focus on: a. Throwing up against a wall b. Varying distance of throws c. Throwing over or under obstacles Day 64 Theme: Throwing and Catching Instant Activity: Football Tag Select 2 students to be taggers. The first level is speed walking, once the children demonstrate that they can controllably go at this speed without running into people they will move to the next levels. The other two levels are galloping, skipping, and then running. The game progresses like a continuous tag game. If the kids are tagged then they are it as well. 1. Review: volleying 2. Focus on: a.
