CASE STUDY ETP - ONSHORE CRUDE OIL EXPLOITATION AND PROCESSING

CHALLENGE / OPPORTUNITY

TANFLOC Organic Vegetable

Coagulant from Renewable Resources Cationic Coagulant / Flocculant for Water and Wastewater
TANAC

A downstream unit, located in the north-eastern region of Brazil, which had a total daily flow of up to 70,000 m, had to treat its effluent from the production and injection processes (onshore well for oil expulsion).

Located in southern Brazil, Tanac is the worlds largest producer of mimosa vegetable extracts.

After the effluent had undergone the water/oil separation process (API and demulsifiers) the water still had an oil and grease content of 60 to 100 ppm, while the limit for discharge is 20 ppm. The use of T a n f l o c reduced the content of oils and greases in the effluent to 10 ppm, thus fully reaching the desired goal.

Tanac combines quality products and services with environmental preservation at all stages of the tannin production process.

APPLICATION FLOWCHART

Channelling strengths to reach common targets permanently involves all the members of the Tanac team. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC an NSF certifications are the result of team work.

A quality product range developed to satisfy the needs of the companys clients and guarantee best results together with prompt delivery and permanent technical assistance: this is Tanacs profile.
