n Individual European regulators will base their regulations on the SE24 report
n ETSI TG31a
n Started on conformance tests

n Short Range Devices (SRD) and Recommendation 70-03
Work on this item continues as an ongoing task in the
SRD MG.
The use of Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology is now being
addressed in a greater detail. Compatibility studies and test are
taking place. Consideration will have to be given to the structure
of the future regulations for UWB applications in Europe and
world wide. It is also important to consider possible changes to the
Radio Regulations including 5.340.
