Organization of Mathematics Club OBJECTIVES To assess the weaknesses of mathematics students on the content of learning area as well as in all year levels. To develop students interest and knowledge in Mathematics; and to promote desirable values such as sportsmanship, cooperation, and teamwork. To organize Young Math Wizards Club STRATEGIES Administer Diagnostic/Inventory Test and Achievement Test Conduct Math Festival Administer Annual Quiz Bee/year level Elect new set of Math club officers and prepare them for leadership roles. Conduct Enrichment/Remedial Activities in School level ICT aided activities/ presentations and lessons Attendance in the division, regional and national seminars Enroll in Graduate School Teacher made test in HOTS and parallel to NAT. Administered and Analyzed Involvement in the Creation of Math Library TIME FRAME 3rd week of June 2011/ March 2012 PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Improved/Increased the Achievement Rate of at least 5%. At least 75% of the students with potentials in Mathematics should have been motivated to excel through healthy competition. Trained students leaders Dynamic Math teachers Students acquired advanced knowledge in mathematics Students with failing grade/s improved significantly in mathematics Developed Math ICT teachers and ICT mathematically inclined students All Math teachers should have attended on the seminar.
