The current definition of bullying, based on behavior and protection all students equally? 3. Adding a free speech clause to your districts bullying policy? 4. A policy requiring notification for parents prior to and given an opt out for: controversial instruction, outside guest instructors, or materials related to reproductive health? 5. Protecting the classroom from organizations that promote or offer abortion services? 6. The traditional offering of services that does not include contraceptives being offered in the school based wellness centers in your school district? 7. Abstinence based education? 8. A social media policy that preserves religious liberty and allows for free speech? 9. Adding an free speech clause to social media policies? 10. Teachers right to engage in religious activities on public school property? 11. Invocations by private citizens during general public comment of school board meetings? 12. Giving religious objectors the right to be free from funding the NEA teachers union?

Delaware Family Policy Council (DFPC) is a statewide family values organization that focuses on strengthening and supporting families through public policy and education. DFPC equips citizens in strengthening and advocating for their own families, therefore being engaged in the democratic process of choosing leaders who best represent their values. DFPC is committed to promoting and preserving: the right of parents as the first and primary educators in the life of their child(ren), religious freedom and rights in the classroom, and academic and educational integrity. DFPC also works to network and support education professionals who value principles of faith, family and freedom, in their critical roles as teachers and influencers in our community and especially in the lives of our children.

All school board candidates were sent a questionnaire through email and standard mail and encouraged to participate as a service to their community. If additional comments were provided by a candidate, it is noted with an * and can be viewed on p.2 &/or on our website: www.delawarefamilies.org Because we are grading candidates, this scorecard is not for distribution by churches. #6 I support having some additional services available in the wellness centers, services such as testing and guidance may help children approach and discuss w/ family [sic]. #9 Support, as long as it is not hate speech or bullying speech.

#12 Not sure I know all I need to know on this issue to decide at this time.

#3 & #9 I do not think there is a NEED to write any NEW LAW as we have a greater LAW.

#5 Abstain I do not support some services they offer. #8, #9 & #12 Abstain Need more info.

#9 I support free speech, but there are boundaries which shouldnt be crossed when it can cause damage to individuals or organizations.

Gary Wolfe
#3 Oppose adding language as it is currently in policy number 5311, and should be its own policy not limited to bullying. #5 Oppose any group other than those approved by the board. #6 Support services that are only approved yearly by a parent or Guardian, and the Milford policy allows parents to choose only those services they will permit! #7 Candidate did not mention abstinence based education in response.
