The aim is to make these work as seamlessly as possible to deliver a cohesive and effective aid program that bring sustainable benefits to p g g poor people.

Avoid displacement & resettlement wherever possible by considering all viable alternativeoptions lt ti ti Minimise, mitigate or compensate for adverse i d impactswhere such i t h h impacts t cannot be avoided Enhance, or at least restore, the livelihoods of APs relative to pre-project levels, and improve standards of living for displaced poor and vulnerable groups

6. Building the Resilience and Awareness of Metro Manila Communities to Natural Disaster and Climate Change Impacts (BRACE) 2010-2017 Aims reduce vulnerability of urban poor families to natural disasters - community based preparedness training - risk and exposure analysis - and use planning, and p g - securing the safety of poor families living in hazard-prone areas Around 9,000 people will have safe in-city housing and 650,000 men and women will be trained to , prepare for disasters

7. Implementation of guidance
Early stages - integrating guidance into agency business processes & key reform agendas - helping staff put into practice O Ongoing refinement i fi t - continue to harmonise with Banks, other donors - build on momentum & strengthen community of practice
