PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Digital Pen hardware consist of a battery operated pen which sends unique signals to receiver module kept as paper clip, based on movements of pen. This Receiver module in turn reads these pen strokes and sends it to server via http protocol. The server machine stores this data, session wise, which could be retrieved by the user. My Contribution: I was given responsibility of writing sockets on windows and testing of functionality. Also implemented Batch file for invoking the application as the system boots up.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project involves tracking of assets. It consists of vts module on vehicle (for eg), which has a gps receiver, which constantly receives data from satellite. The wavecom wireless CPU also on vts modules reads these data in form of NMEA packets and sends it to the server via gprs. The server in turn reads out the latitude and longitude coordinates and maps it. So the logged user can track of his asset or vehicle. My Contribution: Learned and trained my team regarding Open AT API and Event Driven programming. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Real time tracking using GSM modem for transport system The term GSM is described, as Global System for Mobile Services. GSM is a digital cellular phone technology that is based on time-division multiple accesses and now it is used in worldwide. The other being IS136 [Interim Standard] which supports code-division multiple accesses This project is based on GSM, here we maintain a database which will be having updates of location of bus, the location of bus is sent by the conductor/driver of bus from a mobile to the database, the passenger can send a message requesting for the information of location of the bus so that they need not to wait for the bus on the bus stop. Whenever we want to send SMS the user has to type information in the software provide then Microcontroller unit send to the GSM modem with the AT commands. My Contribution I was given responsibility for learn and guide (team mates) Open AT API and Event Driven programming. I was involved in writing a module for reading data from received SMS and sending it to server via GSM.
