To give an exposure to working/ live telecommunication equipment deployed in BSNL. To help in enhance awareness of the students on various job options in the Telecom Industry Sessions on Theory, Labs/Installation visit, Self-Study, Assignment, Evaluation, Certification. Two weeks training including theory and practical sessions May be conducted throughout the year as per requirement. B.E & B.Tech Students of 2nd/ 3rd/ 4th year & ME/ M Tech from the streams of Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer, IT, Electrical, Instrumentation. Theory Session on: Overview of Telecom Networks PCM Principles & CCS# 7 Signalling Intelligent Network Introduction to Next Generation Network ( NGN ) Fibre-Optic Communication Technology with PDH, SDH & DWDM Mobile Communication Technologies- GSM, CDMA, WCDMA (3G), RF optimization, MNP and VAS Broadband Technologies including RPR, MLLN, MPLS- VPN, GPON & Wi-Max IP addressing including IPv6 , Routers & router- principles and protocols. Lab Session on: Telecom Switching System: EWSD, C-DOT & OCB Optical fiber cables and systems (Splicing of OFC, OTDR, PDH and SDH systems) Broad Band equipments ( ADSL, DSLAM., Tier-I & Tier-II Switches ) and MLLN MUX Mobile Switching System (GSM , CDMA ) Rupees 6000/- + Service Taxes i.e. requisite fee of Rs. 6618/- to be paid by the Participant/ Trainee in the form of DD in favour of A.O.( Cash ), BSNL; NSCBTTC, Kalyani; payable at Kalyani, WB. Two copies of passport size photograph Copy of I-Card issued by College/Institution Sponsorship letter from College/Institution Soft copies of course material in CD will be delivered to the Students. Assignments/ Tests by NSCBTTC faculty Appropriate Certificate will be issued along with performance assessment by BSNL to each of the student. Hostel facility will be extended based on availability to the candidates only. Seat Rent: Rs.100/- per day per candidate.
