VERSIONS AND SIZES
There are two versions (landscape, portrait)
of the EHF EURO 2012 logo, shown on these
pages. The logo must be reproduced exactly
according to the specified color and relation-
ships between image and typography of the
logo, modification of the elements is not
allowed.
A. LANDSCAPE VERSION
This is the most common version of the logo.
The minimum width of the logo is 30 mm,
height is proportionally according to this
example.
B. PORTRAIT VERSION
Use this logo version only if available space
request the portrait format. The minimum width
of the logo is 15 mm, height is proportionally
according to this example.

C. ALTERNATIVE EXTENDED VERSION
This is the alternative version of the logo with
all key information. The minimum width of the
logo is 50 mm, height is proportionally
according to this example.
D. MEDIUM VERSION
Use this logo version only if available space
request the medium format. The minimum
width of the logo is 20 mm, height is proportio-
nally according to this example.
E. SMALL VERSION
Use this logo version only if available space
request the small format. The minimum width
of the logo is 12 mm, height is proportionally
according to this example.

BLACK AND WHITE
The Black and White version is for use only,
when fullcolour process printing is not possible.
Use the available EHF EURO 2012 B&W.eps
version of the logo in this case.
FOR USE ON DARK BACKGROUNDS
The negative version of the logo (diap) is for
use on dark backgrounds in general. Besides
Black the guideline colours Orange and Blue
can be used as background colours.

CLEAR SPACE
A minimum of clear space requirement has
been established to ensure the prominence and
clarity of the EHF EURO 2012 logo. The logo
should remain free from all graphics, taglines,
identities, photography and typography
(different from what we show you
in these guidelines). Overlays and textlines or
other visual elements which affect or damage
the logo are strictly prohibited.
LANDSCAPE AND PORTRAIT LOGO
Clear space refers to a distance of X, as a
unit of measurement, surrounding each side of
the EHF EURO 2012 logo. The space between
'handball' EHF EURO 2012 and enjoy is equal
to X.
ALTERNATIVE, MEDIUM AND SMALL
LOGO VERSIONS

TYPEFACES/FONTS
The typeface/font used in the EHF EURO 2012 logo
is Myriad Pro Regular.
The typeface used for the added textlines
HANDBALL NETHERLANDS and ENJOY THE
PASSION is Univers Condensed.
It is recommended to use the Myriad Pro for
all headlines and subtitles. Avoid to use the
italic versions of the typeface/font.
For body tekst it is recommended to use the
Univers Regular typeface/font.
Please avoid to use Myriad Pro Bold and
Univers Black versions of these
typefaces/fonts.

THE DO AND DONTS
Whenever and wherever the EHF EURO 2012
logo appears, it should always be clear and
visible. By controlling the background on which
it is presented will optimize its legibility. The
correct and incorrect examples illustrated here
will serve as a useful guide when you are
developing a layout or choosing an environment
or a mediumin which the EHF EURO 2012 logo
will be displayed.
To maximize readability, is strongly recommen-
ded that the EHF EURO 2012 logo only appear
on solid backgrounds such as white, black, blue
or orange, see the COLOUR guidelines. Avoid
using busy backgrounds different from what we
show you in these guidelines.
Also be aware of the CLEAR SPACE guidelines
