StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty was released on July 27th, 2010 and is currently still one of the best PC games

currently out. Based off of the original StarCraft released in 1998, StarCraft 2 brings to the table new units, mechanics, music, graphics and everything else that truly makes this a game worth playing. Even when a person isnt a major PC gamer; this game can be played in so many different ways that everyone will find something about it to love. This makes it one of the more engaging real-time strategy games out there. Starcraft 2s campaign is a continuation after the original games campaign ended. (Few years after) Jim Raynor is starting a rebellion (Main protagonist from first game, explains all in prologue of previous events) against the Terran dominion (humans) in order to unite the dominion under a better ruler. Within the campaign you unlock new units and technology along the way and there is an achievement system to reward you as you go along playing the game. You make choices along the way that impact future events and ultimately your game experience. The campaign itself is worth buying this game alone, but there is more.

The multiplayer is likely one of the most incredible ladder systems out there to this date. Though there may be times where a fairly good player plays against a fairly new player, this multiplayer is better balanced then most. Starcraft 2 has one of the most competitive multiplayer systems to date. Its played at multiple MLGs and thousands of dollars have been won from multiple tournaments based on this game. The multiplayer is always being updated to insure balance from the 3 playable multiplayer races. The three races available are the Terran, (humans, far more advanced than present day) the Zerg, (bug like creatures, tending to be aggressive when portrayed) and the Protoss. (Very advanced, warping in) The game modes available within multiplayer include ladder, (1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3 and 4vs4) a cooperative vs. A.I. system, and a custom games mode where people design game types and share them with the public. As a strategy game this game is very heavily based on scouting and knowing what your opponent is doing so you can correctly gain the advantage and destroy them. Starcraft 2 is the greatest RTS I have ever played in my entire life. Every time I play this game I discover something new and never fail to have fun enjoying this game. With prestigious honor I hereby rate this game a 10/10 and recommend it for every single person out there, of any age after 7. When a game is fun and has so many different opportunities that it doesnt end, you truly are playing a gifted game.
