communication as a means for gathering and disseminating information is generally used more extensively than written communication.A considerable part of the managers time is consumed in personal contacts with subordinates and others. 2.WRITTEN COMMUNICATION:
Standardised forms with blank spaces for messages and instructions,lingo,summary reports,and official bulletins,are all frequently used in organizations for transmitting information and messages. Thus,written communication can be more definite and effectively drafted and formulated than the oral communication.Similarly,written communication be retained as legal records and also as a source of reference.

Communication without using words is known as non verbal communication,Message conveyed by non verbal is simple.These may be visual or auditory :

Auditory methods are those which are heard.

Colours,pictorial representation,poster,graphs and charts,maps,signs and signal,body language etc.are all visual forms,Non-verbal communication are the sounds which we hear such as,beatz,etc.

A. PHYSICAL :This is the personal type of communication.It includes facial expression,tones of voice,sense of touch,sense of smell,and body motion. B. AESTHETIC: This is the type of communication that take place through creative expressions:Playing,instrumental music,dancing,painting and sculpturing. C. SIGNS :This is the mechanical type of communication,which includes the use of signals flags,The 21 gun salute,horns,siren. D. SYMBOLIC :This type of communication that makes use of religion,status,or egobuilding symbolic. E. BODY LANGUAGE :In a face-to-face communication a person does not communicate only through words,his whole personality,his general bearing facial expression,postures and gestures its involved in the process.A neatly dressed man with pleasant expression will find it easier to establish a rapport with other. F. POSTURES :When we called upon to speak,walk straightly and stand at ease.Keep our hand on the sides and the note cards on the lectern.Do not fidget,but try to feel relaxed.While speaking,use the hand for appropriate gestures but these should be no peculiar flourishes.There actions are called postures which are done to express something action. G. EYE CONTACT : Eye contact is one of the most immediate and effective means of establishing rapport with an audience.Look at our audience and pause for a while before saying anything.To start speaking as soon as

one reaches the dias shows lack of poise and creates a poor impression on audience.

ORGANIZATIONAL LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION: In a team based business organization,communication becomes its lifeblood where people communicate with one another.The flow of communication inside an organization may filter in up,down and horizontal directions. MASS COMMUNICATION: Newspapers,magazines and periodicals,the means of mass communication,are frequently used for oral or written communication.
