Amin 22 May 2012 In the period 2001-12 US intelligence made excessive penetration in Pakistan.Billions were pumped into NGOs , development projects etc. The culmination point started from Raymond Davis affair of early 2011.These restrictions on the CIA were actually placed in February 2011.This news is just a repetition of something that actually started in February 2011. In addition many US NGOs and USAID contractors were banned in 2011 and 2012. The most negative fall out was the Osama Bin Laden affair.But President Obama instead of using this incident to confront Pakistan is using it as a election slogan.He is deeply indebted to Pakistani intelligence sources for allowing him this event for political mileage. There is no doubt that Osama was there with state support and no less a person than Pakistans ex DG ISI admitted this fact. We need to see the larger picture here.Pakistan is all set to be a Chinese province by 2030 or so.China sees Pakistan as its best link to the Persian Gulf oil and is going to construct an all weather railway from Singkiang to Karachi port , Port Qasim and Gwadar Port. This is just like China is using Burma to avoid the Strait of Malacca bottleneck. Main US aim is to make things bad for China in Pakistan , a perfectly logical strategic objective and to denuclearise Pakistan, again a perfectly logical strategic objective.The first US objective is feasible but the second is difficult.
