NOTIFICATION

REVISED ADMISSION ROUND FOR ENGINEERING / TECHNOLOGY, ARCHITECTURE,

INDIAN SYSTEM OF MEDICINE & HOMOEOPATHY COURSES AND OTHER SEAT SELECTION ROUNDS - 2011
As per the directions of the Government the revised Admission Round Seat Selection Schedule for all eligible candidates seeking admission to
Engineering / Technology and Architecture and Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy courses will be held in accordance with the following
revised schedule.
The seat selection schedule for Casual Vacancy Round seat selection for Medical / Dental, Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy,
Engineering / Technology and Architecture courses is also given below:
NOTE:
1. Seat Selection will be conducted in Bangalore, Belgaum, Chitradurga, Hubli, Gulbarga, Mangalore and Shimoga simultaneously.
2. Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates should attend the seat selection only at Bangalore.
3. Engineering Fee structure for different types of colleges are detailed in the KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in for the information of the candidates
and parents. The candidates have to bring the prescribed fees in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of The Executive Director, Karnataka
Examinations Authority payable as the case may be. Candidates can bring demand drafts in different denominations.

NOTE:
1. The instructions given in KEA information brochure for CET-2011 regarding selection of seats by the candidates are applicable for the above seat
selection schedule CET-2011 also.
2. The schedule for the following rounds is not shown in this notification. The same will be intimated after receipt of Government Orders and subject to
availability of seats.
(a) Supplementary Candidates.
A candidate who becomes eligible in 2011 2nd PU / 12th Std. Supplementary Examination will have an opportunity to select Engineering seat if any,
which remains unfilled after completion of regular Casual Vacancy Round.
(b) All India Quota Medical / Dental Seats:
The Medical /Dental seats if any, which remain unfilled under All India Quota, will be offered to eligible Medical rank holders.
