THE VALUE OF LIVING YOUR DREAMS

A good marketing business like CARITAS stresses the importance of: 1. Having dreams 2. Going for your dreams 3. Living your dreams Many successful network marketing leaders speak about lifestyle they achieved in order to inspire others to live their dreams. It is not about the big house or the big car or how much they cost. It is about inspiring others to go for their dreams.

WHY DREAMS ARE IMPORTANT

1. Being rich and being able to afford a big house are not dreams. What is important is striving, learning, doing your best to develop your personal power to afford a big house. 2. It is YOU WHO BECOME IN THE PROCESS of affording a big house that is important. People who dream small dreams continue to live their lives as small people.

3. It is not the size of the house or becoming rich that is important. It is the size of the dream that is important.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 6

WHY DREAMS ARE IMPORTANT

4. The house and hundreds of thousands of income are not the dreams. The house and the money are the symbols of becoming people who achieve their dreams. A big house is not the dream. It is WE WHO BECOME IN THE PROCESS that is the dream. 5. Big people have big dreams. Small people have small dreams. If you want to change who you are, begin by changing the size of your dreams.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 7

WHY DREAMS ARE IMPORTANT

6. Never let the lack of money diminish the size of your dream. It is the vision of your dream that will put you through this rough period of life. 7. Being broke is temporary, and poor is eternal. Even if you are broke, it does not cost money to dream of being rich. Many people are poor because they have given up on their dreams. 8. Keep dreaming big dreams. Who knows, Maybe someday, your dreams will come true. They might as well be big ones!

THE NEGATIVES
Three Reasons Why People Fail: 1. Not prepared to hear the word NO.

2. Not using the product or service

3. Not enough knowledge of the business and the products.

The Steps to Success SLIDE 44

4 Modules (Checking your Business)

1. Do I have the skills to share and sell the products or the program? Do I have the skills to invite someone to an opportunity meeting? Am I doing it?

2. Am I making sales? Am I signing people up?

3. Are the people making a commitment? Are the people getting product or program sold? 4. Have I become a good student? Have I become a good teacher?
The Steps to Success SLIDE 45

CASHING OUT
What did I do to make money in my CARITAS business today?
1. Did I sell any product?
2. Did I invite/recruit somebody? 3. Did I make a presentation of the CARITAS business? 4. Did they buy the products? 5. Did they sell products?

6. Did I help my associates make one of the above?

The Steps to Success SLIDE 46

CLONING LEADERS
Associates come and go. How many leaders have you got in your team? Your strength, security and income depend on the number of leaders in your team, not on the number of transient associates passing through.

If I lose my entire army of 100,000 men, no problem. As long as I have ten good leaders, I can rebuild my army quickly. If I lose my ten good leaders, my 100,000 army will be useless and will quickly disperse. - Ancient Conqueror

Having good leaders is the secret. The smart CARITAS leader (AM or GM) has several good leaders in their associates. And their life is easy.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 47

HOW DO YOU GET A GOOD LEADER?

Home-grow your leaders.
Take someone with a desire to succeed and invest your time to give him the skills to be a successful CARITAS leader. It takes time. It wont happen overnight. Your choice may not have the commitment and desire to develop into that responsible leader. You may have to invest in several potential leaders to get your superstar.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 48

HOW TO BUILD A SUPERSTAR EVERY YEAR

First, find an Associate with great desire. Maybe he has no skills and experience, is rough around the edges and has a long, long way to develop. But thats not important. What is important is desire. Second, get a long term commitment from the chosen Associate. Make sure the Associate sees the vision and understands the commitment and investment of the Leader as his mentor. Third, the work begins. The leader/mentor becomes the associates constant companion. They do two-in-one presentation together. They go on the road together. For the next 6 months, they look like Siamese twins. The Steps to Success
SLIDE 49

AFTER 6 MONTHS
The Associate knows everything that his Manager knows PLUS whatever skills, knowledge and talents that the Associate knows ; everything his Manager mentor does PLUS more. A new, powerful leader has been developed, one that surpasses his mentor.

How would you like to have an associate with even more talent, knowledge and skills than you personally possess? Not only that, it is a good feeling. Its a profitable feeling. How would you feel to have a associate of 10 superstars, each with greater ability than yourself?

RICH! VERY RICH!

The Steps to Success

SLIDE 50

CLONING MORE LEADERS

It is even easier. When you have invested 6 months (or even a year) in your first leader, you can now go on to build your Number 2 leader. Your new leader can also go on to build his associate leader. If you mentored correctly, your first leader will follow your slow, sure, methodical building technique that guarantees success.

And his leaders will be better than yours. Why? Your better than yours. Why? Your second level leader will learn everything that you know, PLUS additional talent, knowledge or skill he already has. Its like building second generation super leaders. Its profitable, too.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 51

RECRUITING THE STARS

When one attends a CARITAS Business Opportunity Meeting, and finds what looks to be an unlimited opportunity, he immediately joins and goes into the business.
Most people would immediately start by looking for an associates. He should not. The first thing to do is to look for someone who is earning what he wants to earn. That someone helps create a reliable system that would not require a genius to operate. Look for three people who are already successful: a student, an employee, a professional.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 52

SECRET IN CARITAS BUSINESS

The only secret in CARITAS Business is no secret: Success is in the number. It is a classic rule of sales. Teach your associates nothing else. Teach them that working the numbers is the only strategy virtually guaranteed to make you rich.

The Steps to Success SLIDE 53

THE ESSENCE OF STRATEGY

Talk to 10 or 20 people everyday. A highly successful leader said he did not have any natural recruitment or sales talent. He just talks to a lot of people everyday. If you talk to 10 or 20 people and ask them: Would you be interested in a business that does not require big capital or experience? Two or three would probably say, Now that you mention it, yes, I was looking for one.

The Steps to Success SLIDE 54

PERSISTENT HARDWORK
The secret in having fantastic success in CARITAS is not just the presentation of the business opportunity. Its persistent hard work.
10 People a day X 5 days = 200 people a month 90% or 180 people will tell you they dont have time to get rich. 10% or 20 people will sign up. Many will drop out or will become primarily buyers. Only 1 out of 200 prospects will become successful, fulltime associate. If you call on another 200 people the following month, you will turn up another gem and so on. In one year, you will have 12 successful associates. Of the 12 stars, 9 will make P50,000.00 a month. The Steps to Success
SLIDE 55

FANATICS YOUR TREASURE

The other three are fanatics. They refuse to rest until they become rich, and they hold the key to your wealth. Each of those fanatics can generate P100,000.00 per month for you.

The Steps to Success SLIDE 56

HANDLING NEW RECRUITS

1.
2.

Push them toward self-sufficiency.

Train them well, do coaching on the job, and do field training.

3.
4.

Show him how to present the business up to 30 prospects.

After that, cut the cord and let him loose.

5.

If he has not learned after that, also cut the cord and let him loose. Otherwise, you become a baby-sitter.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 57

HANDLING NEW RECRUITS

6. You cannot drag everyone to the finish line.

7. When you sign up a new associate, insist that he shares the information with their families, relatives and friends. 8. With everyone you meet, show the business first. Then, if they are not interested in building a business, convert them into clients. Working this way, you would be able to earn substantial income in selling the products.

The Steps to Success SLIDE 58

REASON WHY PEOPLE JOIN YOU

The trend to join CARITAS and other similar businesses just confirms the unrewarding daily grind that life has become for so many Filipinos. The trend provides an excellent map of the years ahead. People will find CARITAS business opportunity and the financial concepts and services of tremendous value in explaining the future to others.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 59

Survey says that most Filipinos are not happy with what they do. Why is that?
People today are caught in a time crunch that denies them leisure. Many people are interested not only in material wealth but in work that gives them freedom of choice and freedom of time. Acquiring material things does not seem to produce happiness. Consumption has increased considerably while happiness has declined.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 60

WHAT WOULD MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY?

Doing work that he feels is socially valuable. More and more people are striving for greater control of their destinies and for the chance to apply personal skills to earn their income.

The Steps to Success SLIDE 61

DOES CARITAS BUSINESS HAVE ANY IMPACT ON OUR LIFE?

Yes, of course. Any business that offers self determination and freedom of time, freedom of choice for the practitioners and service to the customers will be popular. That is one reason why CARITAS and other marketing businesses have experienced drastic growth and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 62

WHAT KIND OF SERVICE WILL CONSUMERS DEMAND?

There is a trend away from mass production to customization. Customers today expect to be served more personally by marketers and product providers. They dont have the time to stand in line or deal with an uninformed clerk.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 63

WHAT DOES CARITAS HAVE TO OFFER TO THOSE DESIRING TO USE THEIR ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS AND PERSONAL DETERMINATION?
Without abandoning yet their work, they can look at CARITAS, the business opportunity and what CARITAS does for the consumers. Here they have the opportunity to increase their income and have more time to enjoy life.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 64

DOES CARITAS BUSINESS COINCIDE WITH ANY OTHER IMPORTANT TREND?

Yes. It offers entrepreneurial opportunity to the masses to people who may not have advanced educational or professional training. Before, people dreamed to have their houses. Today, the dream is more ambitious to own their own business. But the average Filipino does not have P 25 Million to buy a franchise or launch a company. CARITAS lets everyone invest less than P1,000.00 to start a potentially lucrative business without the risks of a conventional corporation.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 65

IS THERE A TREND FOR PEOPLE TO GO INTO BUSINESS RATHER THAN EMPLOYMENT?

According to a study in the U.S. by the Small Business Administration (SBA), 60% of the families will have some type of entrepreneurial business within the next decade. For employers to compete in the labor market against independent business entrepreneurs in the marketing and direct selling industry, companies will have to offer employees more freedom of time, freedom of choice, personal determination and entrepreneurial latitude. But they are locked into the 19th Century system of organization and labor management.
The Steps to Success SLIDE 66

WHAT DO PROFESSIONALS GET FROM DIRECT SELLING?

If a surgeon decides to quit operating, the money stops.

If a dishwasher decides not to wash dishes, the money stops.

If a lawyer decides to stop practicing, the money stops. If a dentist decides to stop practicing, the money stops.

If a salesman decides not to sell, the money stops.

The Steps to Success SLIDE 67

In almost every profession, when the person stops working, the money stops. But not in Caritas! In Caritas, its different. In the beginning , you do a lot of ground work and foundation building, but later, you get a lot of money even when you dont work as hard. Thats why people including professionals want to get into Caritas or any direct selling business. They like the residual income and the financial security it brings.
