Diagnosis: Requested for the logs and pmd file. Solution: Requested BP to upgrade to the latest code , as the issue was reported earlier and fixed in PR# 143316 . BP agreed closure. Regards, From the analysis done by the engineering team with regard to the crash, it is confirmed that the issue was similar to the one reported under the PR# 158147 where the fix was included in the latest Regression Tested Build of 644R01. Please have the switch upgraded to the latest Regression Tested Build of 644R01 in order to avail the fix. Do revert for any clarifications.

I am going to test this in my Lab and mean while please provide me the attached minimum information which will help me to narrow down the issue, if the issue is not seen in lab. boot.cfg file, including the AlcatelDebug.cfg file if present -tech_support log files; created by using: show tech-support (once you run this command tech-support.log will be generated on /flash directory of primary CMM) show tech-support layer2 show tech-support layer3 show tech-support -swlog1.log and swlog2.log original binary files -command.log file if present -PMD files (Post Mortem Dump) if present (crash*, *.pmd, *.dmp) -Captures of the following commands: ls r show configuration status show log swlog show command-log (if command-log is enabled) show user show snmp statistics show stack topology (If units are in stack) - network diagram Please use the below commands to generate logs from other units on 6850 Stack. rls x /flash (where x represents slot number of the unit other than primary CMM) rls x /working rls x /certified rcp x:swlog1.log swlog1.x.log rcp x:swlog2.log swlog2.x.log rcp x:dumpf.pmd dumpf.x.pmd (where dumpf refers to any file with a pmd and dmp extension) Please transfer all log files and pmd files in binary format from flash directory of the switch. Logs from secondary CMM for 9000 and 8000 series. 1. rcp cmm-b:/flash/swlog1.log swlog1-sec.log (once you ran this command there will be swlog1-sec.log file created on the flash directory on the primary FTP that in binary format and send that to us) 2. rcp cmm-b:/flash/swlog2.log swlog2-sec.log 3. rcp cmm-b:/flash/crash1.pmd crash1-sec.pmd

Please use the below commands to generate logs from secondary CMM for 7000 series. 1. rcp swlog1.log swlog1.sec (once you ran this command there will be swlog1.sec file created on the flash directory on the primary FTP that in binary format and What is the LED status of the switch? From when the issue started, was there any configuration/action done prior to the issue? Do you these error messages on the console during the time of boot up?
