Monitoring 3G KPIs like (accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput, congestion) and suggest change request to improve the quality of the New Sites in Reyadh. Involved in Dual Cell 42Mbps Role out project, Initially involve in 42Mbps trial and once all Dual Cell parameters are tuned for role out than involved in delivering whole Riyadh 42Mbps role out, main responsibilities in this role out is to suggest parameter for Dual cell like (64 QAM Enable, HSDPA 15 codes Enable, Shared HSDPA scheduler for baseband efficiency Enable, HSDPA 14 Mbps per user Enable, Flexible RLC and CE to be reserved by changing TCell and making FMCSID for DCell). Involved in F2 Upgrades Role out, preparing all parameters required for F2 by keeping F2 for HSPA Traffic and F1 for voice traffic, suggesting RF Module (FRGF,FRGC and FRGE) and System module (FSMD and FSME) changes and parameter recommendation like ( recommending cell weight for HSDPA layers, direct RRC enabling for F1 and F2 Cells, direst RRC for HSDPA layers, cell bar on F2 cells and grouping F1 and F2 cells by TCell and enabling 64 QAM). Daily monitoring new F2 Upgrade site KPIs and suggest changes for and degradation. Involved in F3 Upgrades Trial, provide customer complete study for F3 upgrades suggesting different power settings for F1,F2 and F3, by suggesting upgrades CE on system modules, recommending different cell weight for F1,F2 and F3 and suggesting parameter settings. Successfully delivered Huawei to NSN 3G Swap Project in line with SLA of over 60 NodeBs. Did parameter Mapping from Huawei to NSN on RNC,WBTS and Cell Level and presented to customer. Successfully delivered Ericsson to NSN 3G Swap Project in line with SLA of over 210 NodeB. Successfully delivered RNC Rehoming role out project in one month Duraion. Did parameter Mapping from Ericsson to NSN on RNC,WBTS and Cell Level and presented to customer. Planning New 3G Site suggesting the parameters based on dense urban ,urban and rural areas, planning parameter scrambling code, planning NBRs and Monitoring Intial KPIs. Preparing XMLs through NetACT for all parameter changes, site creation, NBR Creation. Doing Regular Audits on Monthly Basis for all RNCs by self made tools. Senior Optimization Eng LCC (Mobilink swap) Pakistan (2G)(From 15th June2010 to 1st Feb2011)

Major Responsibilities:

Maintenance of KPls for the assigned Huawei Clusters. Making IARs & FARs after achieving the finalized KPIz. Analyzing integration reports of new sites based on Drive Test and neighbor analysis. City level redesigning (tilts azimuth and parameter changes) in order to improve the KPIs and Traffic sharing between the neighboring sites without affecting coverage/traffic.

Being a BSC Responsible I am responsible for maintaining and improving DCR, CSSR, IHSR, MPD, TCH Blocking. Neighbor optimization, Frequency Plan audit, Redesigns and soft Parameter trails to achieve the target based KPIs. Responsible for Frequency plans of newly integrated sites. Frequency audit, BSIC audit, MA List Audit of new sites in order to integrate them into the network.

3G RF Optimization/planning consultant in UAE for SE region in HUAWEI+DU Project (From Nov 28th 2009 15th June 2010).

Responsibilities Monitor & analyze the WCDMA HSDPA+ 3G Radio Network Statistics on daily basis. Checking and Analyzing the most important KPIs (accessibility, retain ability, usage, throughput,
congestion) and suggest change request to improve the quality of the whole network.

Make KPI reports based on RNC level and NodeB level and cell level on daily and weekly basis. Involve in checking KPIs formulas and accumulating results based on counter level. Making and analyzing worst cell KPIs on daily basis and purpose recommendation for better performance. Involve in reducing congestion and drops, improving the IRAT Handover, Soft Handover, Location Update, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment Success rate in designated area for all Voice, Video Packet & High Speed, issuing capacity requests whenever needed. Doing Inconsistencies Checks, Packet Throughput, Parameter changes & Physical changes. Parameter tuning based on quality and problems counter on worst cells. Responsible for the KPIs, Formulas and Counters definition. KPI benchmarking after implementation of any recommendations & major activities such as RNC rehoming, and threshold adjustments. Optimize UMTS network resources (power resource, Channel Element Resource, Transmission Resource, Code Resource), in order to achieve better QoS.Fine tuning of all radio network parameters. Scrambling Code plan review and fine tuning. CS & PS Power control parameter fine tuning. 2G 3G reselection procedure method optimization. Inter RAT Handover parameter optimization. Rectification of alarm related faults. 3G 2G Neighbor audit to improve IRAT HO Success and Call Drop Involve in testing the radio performance for the newly integrated sites. Discuss the Scrambling Code retunes requests with team leader for designated area. Participating in technical discussions with the customer. Perform Radio Network Surveys, i.e. Visit possible sites in order to judge if they are suitable from a radio network point of view (Hardware & Location). Evaluate and adapt new methods and technologies regarding Radio Network Optimization, Features, Trials & Tuning. Troubleshooting and Recommendations identifying issues such as Interference, Overshoots, Call Drop, Blocked Call, Congestion, SHO Failure, Missing Neighbor, Cell barring, Cell Dragging, Faulty Hardware in 2G and 3G. Physical Redesign includes Electrical and mechanical tilts optimization, Azimuths modification, Antenna heights changes, antenna type etc. Audit and redesigning Neighbor plan time to time for the optimal coverage and minimum interference. Site Audits & Verifications: Testing of site in the field to make sure the site design parameters are implemented as planned. Responsible for the optimization of UTRAN CS, PS and HSDPA services. (HSDPA code resource distribution, configuration of HS-PDSCH codes according to traffic model, protection timer for HSDPA when moving, configuration of maximum HSDPA users per cell and Node-B).

Responsible of data analysis on problem areas such as call drops, missing neighbor analysis and call setup failure by analyzing layer messages (AS and NAS messages) on drive test log files and RNC trace log files to improve network performance. Analyze RANAP, NBAP protocols. Tune Inter-Radio Access Technology (IRAT) 3G-2G Handover and vice versa, neighbor relation to improve accessibility and retainability for voice, video and packet services.

Worked as a senior Optimization Consultant in Roshan Telecom Afghanistan (NSN land from 28 Oct 2008 to Nov. 2009).

Did the site survey for new and existing sites. Did Frequency Spectrum Interference Test using YBT25O to find the source of interference and report generation. Worked as Optimization engineer in South region doing Drive Tests and Traffic analysis to locate the problems in the network and propose to solve them. Did drive tests to optimize the network by modifying down tilt and azimuth of antenna to improve the coverage and modified handoff, access etc. parameters to improve network quality. Did traffic statistics analysis to track down the problems in the network related to call setup, call drop, soft handoff, hard handoff etc and solve them. Worked as a Network Optimization Manager and Technical Support Engineer for South region. Shared my experience with other RNO Engineers to solve the network problems Gave training to PTCL about Drive Test Data Analysis. Did the site survey for new and existing sites in south region. RF survey and cost efficient cell site designing for 30 remote cities and 4 major cities in Pakistan. Coverage & Capacity Planning and validation of cell sites on ASSET for CW Model Tuning of Dual Band Propagation Models for ASSET (20m resolution data). Participated in the preparation of BCCH Frequency Plan of south using ILSA v2.0 Implementation & optimization of Half Rate in the network to overcome high TCH congestion with good QOS Centralized Traffic Trend Monitoring & Expansion Planning to overcome CS TCH Blocking & maintain 2% GOS Development of Network Database software in MS Access & VB and its synchronization with ASSET Enterprise V5.0 for routine update through XML format.
