OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROCESS: To plan and implement the Teaching and Learning process in accordance with the defined module implementation plan (MIP) as per COPPA standard defined by MQA. SCOPE OF THIS PROCESS: These procedures shall be effectively implemented by respective academic staff within the defined semester period.

Procedures
Provide Student numbers for Next Semester at the College HOD meeting
Plan (Budget inclusive) and submit number of Email letter lecturers, classrooms and teaching aids required to Academic Director Conduct pre-semester meeting with academic Minutes of staff ie lecturers and administrative staff Meeting Conduct Weekly Department Meeting Prepare staff teaching schedule and handover to HOD before pre-semester meeting Prepare students attendance folder and handover to HOD before pre-semester meeting Prepare Module Implementation Plan (MIP) Handover to HOD for endorsement of MIP File the module implementation plan in the MIP folder or Lecturers Portfolio Ensure Lecture rooms and teaching aids are available in accordance with schedule Mark students attendance for every lecture and duly sign the document. Take appropriate follow-up action when a student fails to attend classes more than 3 (three) times on a continuous or continual basis Minutes of Meeting Class schedules Teaching Load Attendance Document MIP Signed MIP Lecturers Portfolio Weekly Report Attendance Document Warning letters
Ensure appropriate follow-up action when a student fail to attend classes more than 3 (three) times on a continuous or continual basis Check students absenteeism folder on weekly basis and duly sign the document. Submit weekly attrition report to HOD Conduct teaching in accordance with the scheme of work with appropriate strategies and resources. Record Lecturers reflection and also the students feedback Endorse Weekly Report

Conduct Formative assessments (FA) at regular intervals Regularly check Formative Assessment (FA) documents and endorse Solicit students feedback on the Teaching & Learning process When Lecturers are not able to teach in accordance with the schedule lecturers are to observe No Cancellation instruction. No Cancellation instruction involves switching of teaching modules, combining classes, doing assignments work, case study or test. Records are to be maintained. Prepare and submit respective Examination Papers for Summative Examination by the 2nd week of the semester Summative Assessment - vetting and validating Examination Papers before sending to Examination Board Solicit students feedback on the teaching effectiveness prior to the end of the semester.
