At what resolutions can I record vid eos?

On the new iPod touch: You can choose to record from your Default camera, videos of optimum resolution (720x1280) from the Rear Camera, and (480x640) using the Front Camera. FPS: ~30 as we are using the iPod touch default video recording. Or you can record from the Custom camera, videos of: Optimal Resolution (352x480) Rear and Front Camera FPS: ~17 On an iPhone 4: You can choose to record from your Default camera, videos of optimal resolution (720x1280) from the Rear camera, and (480x640) using the Front camera. FPS: ~30 as we are using iPhone 4 default video recording. How do I change the resolution? You can set the desired resolution in Settings under Videos. Why cant I change the resolution on my iPod touch, iPhone 4 and 3GS? On your iPod touch, iPhone 4 and 3GS, High Quality and Audio Capture are present as default settings. Thus we have maintained the same. You can however change your resolution if you choose to record using the Custom camera in the Video Settings.

I want to include Audio in my Videos. You can set it on your 3G in Settings under Videos. Just tap on Audio capture. On your iPod touch, iPhone 4 and 3GS you can set it if you choose to use the Custom camera. If you choose the Default camera, Audio will be included by default.

Can I pause while recording videos? Once you start recording you do have an option to Pause and then resume recording. This option is however missing if you choose the Default camera in the Settings to record your videos on your iPod touch, iPhone 4 and 3GS.

Why do my videos always play in the landscape mode? This issue will be resolved if the iPhone OS is upgraded to iOS 4. In iOS 4, videos turn according to the iPhone orientation.

What is the Time Lapse option? With the Time Lapse option you can create interesting videos where the time seems to be moving faster. You can change the Time Lapse Interval in the Settings. Some interesting subjects would be Plants growing, Flowers blooming, people walking and more. You can also apply Video Filters to make it more interesting. Do note that you cannot record Time Lapse videos in the default video mode; select the Camera Plus Pro mode instead.

Can I add filters to my videos? Yes, you can. We have provided you with a host of interesting Filters that you can apply before you start recording. However you cannot apply filters if you choose to capture using the Default camera on your iPod touch, iPhone 4 and 3GS. Choose the Custom camera instead.

In what format are the videos supported? Currently in Camera Plus Pro v2.6 we have supported only .mov format for video. We shall support other formats in due time.

What more can I do with my videos? You can apply Filters, apply Geo-tags, add tags, upload the videos via YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and mail them. Only YouTube accepts Geo-tags while uploading videos.

How can I delete my Videos? To delete a video, tap on the Quick Roll button; Select the video that you want to delete. This will open the video in the Slide Show mode. Tapping on the Trash Can on the bottom right of the toolbar, deletes the video. Alternatively to delete multiple videos at a time, tap on the Options icon on the toolbar. You can now select multiple videos that you wish to delete and delete them by tapping on the Trash Can. You can also delete videos in the Edit mode.

At what resolutions can I capture the photos?

Resolution settings for the new iPod touch: Original: 720x 960 Medium: 360x 480 Low: 180x 240 Resolution settings for an iPhone 4: Rear camera

Original: 2592 x 1936 Medium: 1296 x 968 Low: 648 x 484

Front Camera Original: 480x 640 Resolution settings for an iPhone 3GS:

Original: 2048 x 1536 Medium: 1024 x 768 Low: 512 x 384

How do I change the resolution? You can set desired resolution in Settings under Photos. You have 3 options to choose from: Original, Medium and Low.

I want my photos to save faster and upload quickly. For fast saving, quick uploading and syncing to Camera Roll, Medium resolution works best.

Can I add Flash to my photos? If a photo was clicked at a place with low light, you can add Flash to enhance it. Simply tap on one of the 3 Flash levels and check if the photo looks better. If not, you can always revert before saving.

How do I adjust the appearance of my photos? You have options to adjust Brightness, Saturation, Hue, Sharpness, Contrast, Tint and Temperature Control. You can mix and match these to get the perfect output. You can also Crop, add Filters and Flip your photos.

Can I share multiple photos at once? Yes. In the Quick Roll, tap the Options button. Now select the photos that you want to share at once. Simply tap the Share button and choose the site you want to share the photos to.

I want to publish a few private photos to Flickr You now have an option to choose whether you want your photos to be publicly viewed or keep them private, just before you publish them via Flickr.

I want the symbol to be added to my photos. You can set your Copyright text in Setting under Photos. Just append your text to the copyright symbol provided. Now, you have your own custom copyright text with the symbol.

Can I change the Copyright (Watermark) text and Date text colors? Yes! You are provided with a set of colors to choose from, in Settings under Photos.

General

Can I use the Dual cameras on my iPod touch and iPhone 4 to take photos or record videos? Yes, you can use either of the two cameras to take photos or record videos. Just tap on the camera button (refer image below) to switch between cameras.

I want to use the LED flash that comes with my iPhone 4. Camera Plus Pro takes advantage of the LED flash that comes with your iPhone 4. Just tap on the Flash button provided in the Main Screen.

What is Quick Roll? Quick Roll is your own personal library that allows you to manage your photos and videos efficiently. Through Quick Roll, you can share, lock or delete photos or videos. If you still love the default Camera Roll, you can always use the Sync options to copy them to Camera Roll.

Can I send my videos and photos to the Camera Roll? Yes. Go to Quick Roll options screen. Now, look for Sync icon in the toolbar. Choose the photos/videos you want to copy to the Photo Library and just tap on Sync icon. The synced photos/videos will now be indicated with a Photo Library indicator.

Can I edit the photos present within my Photo Library and Camera Roll? Yes, you can. Look for Photo Library icon in the title bar in Quick Roll. Now, choose any photo from your Photo Library or Camera Roll to edit or share them through Camera Plus Pro.

I have few private photos and videos that I want to protect from being viewed. In Settings under General, set a Password for your 'Photo/Video Lock'. Now, go to the photo/video you want to protect and lock it by tapping on the 'Lock' icon. Simple. You can lock multiple photos/videos as well. You will not be able to view these photos/videos until you unlock them again. Take a note of the following as well:

Ensure that you never forget your password. Locked photos/videos cannot be uploaded or shared unless unlocked. Locked photos/videos cannot be synced back to Camera Roll unless unlocked.

Can I tag a batch of photos at once instead of doing them one at a time? Yes, you can do this before capturing. Just go to Settings under General, and tap on Manage Tags. Enter the tags you wish the photos to have. Once tagged, all the photos that you take will fall under the Tag mentioned by you.

How do I add additional Tags? In Settings under General, tap on Manage Tags button to view Tags Management screen. Here, you are free to Add, Delete or Manage your tags. Editing or deleting an existing tag will apply the changes to all existing photos and videos.

What can I do in the Slide Show? The Slide Show lets you view your photos and videos in full-screen mode. Here you can also Lock, Share, Apply Geo-Tags, Sync or Delete your photos or videos.

How is Quick Roll useful to me? In numerous ways. You can: Tag photos and videos with your own tags. Search for photos and videos by tags from your entire collection. Password-protect your private photos and videos by locking them. Upload multiple photos simultaneously to Flickr, Facebook, Twitter or Picasa. Mail the photos and videos. Upload photos and videos with tags to Flickr and Facebook. Adjust photo quality for faster upload and save on bandwidth.

Why is 'Touch to Focus' not working on my iPhone 3G? 'Touch to Focus' is available only in the new iPod touch , iPhone 4 and 3GS. Can I add comments to my videos/photos before uploading? Yes, you can. We have provided a field for Comments/Description for all the sharing options.

Can I share my photos/videos via FTP? Yes, you can share your photos/videos with your friends via your favorite FTP client/browser. Will my locked Photos/Videos appear in the FTP Share? No, our locked Photos/Videos will not appear there. You have to unlock them if you wish them to appear during the FTP Share.

How does the FTP Share work? When FTP Share is turned ON, Camera Plus Pro works as an FTP server and all the photos and videos present in the Quick Roll can be accessed from the computer, which is in the same WiFi network. Hitting Stop FTP Server button closes the dialog box and the sharing stops and files can not be accessed. In order to use the FTP share feature, your iPhone and computer should be on the same WiFi network. Then turn ON the FTP Share and type the URL in your computers browser application (Safari/Internet Explorer/Firefox)

Can I share my photos/videos via WiFi? Yes, you can share your photos/videos with your friends via WiFi. How does the WiFi Share option work? First the iPhone should be connected to a valid WiFi network. Turn ON the WiFi Share by tapping the "WiFi/FTP" button and selecting the "WiFi Share" option. When WiFi Share gets started, it puts up a dialog with the share URL. In order to access the shared content your computer should be connected to the same WiFi network and you have to enter the mentioned URL in the browser application (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.) Upon doing this thumbnails of photos and videos present in the Quick Roll will be displayed in the browser application. It also shows the captured date, time and the

size. To download a photo or video, click on the Download button. Password protected (locked) photos and videos will not appear in the WiFi Share page.

How do I search for my videos and photos? Please go through the question on Batch tagging the videos and photos to learn how to tag. Once you are in Quick Roll, use the Search field to enter the search term, and all the videos and photos would list accordingly.

Tags added to photos/videos that are uploaded to Twitter are lost... We are working on it. A free update is on its way with this feature included. What other languages is Camera Plus Pro available in? Camera Plus Pro is available in French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. I have some feedback, suggestion or comments.
