The human body is made to be almost always in motion. Not only grins on our faces reflect our emotional states, but the whole body carries out various activities such as walking, running, jumping, writing, among many others we do every day so naturally, but we never stop to ask how important is motion. If we did that question, we would know which is more important than we can imagine, and thanks to the movement, both animals and humans engage in various activities that allow us to stay alive. Among the activities that keep us moving, and therefore also alive, are in addition to those mentioned above, the search for a home, food, and even our activities to find romance or escape from enemies. But why do we know that we move? Living creatures We move in response to different stimuli we receive from abroad, ie the environment. But there are also internal stimuli in our bodies that involve movement, to achieve and systems involved parties as described below: The skeleton, which supports our body consists of bones, joints and cartilage. Aid movement, stores minerals, produces blood cells and protects the internal organs. The joints, which involved the development of the movement, are the set of structures for the union of two or more bones, and are fundamental to the musculoskeletal work properly. The muscular system, with which we can take different positions with the body. By rotating or flashing involving the muscular system, responsible for several of the bodies move substances from one place to another, such as blood and other body fluids. The nervous system, which allows the harmonious relationship between the skeleton, joints and muscles so they can work to generate movement. The nervous system, consisting of the brain, spine and nerves, is responsible for transmitting information through the body. This system also is responsible for detecting changes in the environment, and as a result of this there are certain responses, including the movement. But over time our body loses mobility because in the spine, which is one of the most flexible of the body, bony protuberances grow to be tougher and take away flexibility to the spine.
