Barr reused some of her previous bigoted attacks: painting Catholic priests as child molesters, and calling for the registration of the Church as a PAC. She even called for the taxation of the Catholic Church. In her first Tweet, the washed-up comedian spewed, "Catholic employers need to include psychiatric coverage for their women employee's [sic] children who might get molested by catholic priests!" This echoes an April 2010 post Barr made on her personal blog, where she blasted church-going Catholics: "I am starting to think that any parent who takes their kids to catholic churches from now on should lose custody. Taking your kid where you know sex offenders hang out is inexcusable!!!" A minute later, the left-wing personality continued her attack: "Catholic men deciding whether or not to include pregnancy issues in the health coverage they offer their employees-#PACs-tax them." In Barr's warped view, abortion and birth control are now lumped in the broad category of "pregnancy issues." This isn't the first time that this Hollywood Diva has used this line. In November 2008, shortly after California voters passed Proposition 8, Barr not only singled out Catholics, but also Mormons and Jews. She had this hate filled attack for them back then: "They have crossed the line between church and state and it will be the issue of gay marriage which they so fiercely oppose (as they oppose women's rights and the rights of child sex abuse victims with their fake pro-family bull crap legislation) that will reclassify this "church" as the political action committee that it is, and therefore make it ineligible for tax exempt status! they intend the complete overthrow of the us government. they intend to destroy civil liberties and institute Taliban like polygamy and child marriage. They hate our country, and want to destroy it's constitution. This they do while paying not one cent for the firemen the police the teachers the roads the parks, the hospitals. they build their own infrastructure with your tax money."
