IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING A LEVEL CANDIDATES who are waiting for their January 09 results in order to re-sit the same units in June 09 A-level candidates who wish to enter for units in the May/June 09 session but are waiting for their result from the January 09 session will be able to submit their application forms from 12 - 17 MARCH 09. Candidates who will be sitting the same units they sat in January 09 in June 09 will need to complete a RE- SIT APPLICATION FORM. From now on candidates will need to CASH IN for their subject awards when they are making their application for the subjects they wish to take if they wish to receive their certificate with their results. Candidates are not allowed to DECLINE grades anymore. Any Cash In codes supplied after the deadline of the application form (16 January 2009) will be submitted with a late fee of68.00 (39.80) and Late Cash In codes will be processed in the next exam session. Candidates CAN NOT Decline their grades after the results are issued. Candidates will be able to re-take and Cash In the subject they want in the next session, maximum marks received will be considered for the next issued certificate. Candidates do not need to return their old certificates with the grades they do not wish to keep.

CASH IN Codes Candidates cannot be awarded a full AS or A level grade if the CASH-IN CODE has not been included as part of the entry when the award requirements are being met. Certificates are not issued unless the CASH IN codes are supplied. Cash in Codes supplied after the deadline for applications are subject to late fees of 68.00 (39.80). DECLINE of grades Candidates are not allowed to Decline their Cash in codes. Candidates who are not happy with their results can re-take their units and receive a new certificate with the higher marks. Candidates do not need to return to us their old certificates with the grades they do not wish to keep. CLASHES If you notice that there is a clash with another examination please inform us by sending a copy of your statement of entry with your telephone number written on it to Fax 22585129 as soon as possible and we will try to make alternative arrangements, please note that you may be liable to pay up to 17.00 (9.95). SPECIAL CONSIDERATION If you are a candidate with Special Considerations ( e/g Dyslexia etc.) please attach a medical report written in ENGLISH to this application form stating specifically what kind of special arrangements you would require. PAYMENT Please make your payment at any branch of the Bank of Cyprus into the British Council account (Utility Code 3836) on the special deposit slips available. Return the form with a copy of the deposit slip to the address below. Entries received after closing date are liable to a late entry fee. From 16 January 09 onwards entries are liable to a late entry fee of 120.00 (70.23) per candidate for a subject entry or entries in addition to the subject fee. Candidates who wish to re-sit in the May/June 2009 session but are awaiting their January 2009 results will be able to register between 1217 March 09 without any late fees. Candidates who are re-sitting their January 09 units in May/June 09 session will need to fill in a RE-SIT application form which will be available from 1 March 09 on www.britishcouncil.org/cyprus.
