8. GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL THE PROGRAMMES

Applicants should have obtained at least five (5) "O" Level Credits or better, including English Language and Mathematics as compulsory subjects for admission. Diploma Evening/Distance Learning Programmes: Four (4) "O" Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics. Diploma in Mathematics and Science Education - Distance: Four (4) "O" Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics and a Primary or Pre-School Certificate from recognized institutions plus two (2) years teaching experience.

9. METHOD OF PAYMENT

Application forms are obtainable from the University Cashiers Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K120, 000.00. Applicants using postal or telegraphic money orders should includeK3, 000.00 for postage payable to the University Cashiers Office, Copperbelt University. Payment can also be deposited into the Bank Account indicated below and proof of payment must be shown on submission or collection of the form: Banker : Zambia National Commercial Bank Branch : Kitwe Account Name : Copperbelt University Call Account Account Number : 0450610000000069

Downloaded forms from the University website should be paid for at a cost of K120, 000.00 at the time of submission, failure to which they would not be processed. Forms purchased from either Copperbelt University Cashier or the Post Offices will be by cash payment.

10. CLOSING DATE:

The closing date for sale of application forms shall be Tuesday 31st July, 2012 and the deadline for receipt of duly signed applications forms shall be Friday 31st August, 2012. Please note that forms received after the closing date will not be processed.
