WHAT IS AATMAA?
Aatmaaha Janaaha can be explained in various ways as per our convenience. All are with aatma or so called the life. What is Aatma? This has been the question for ages. When one talk of duality then we call it as Paramaatma and Jeevaatma and incase of singularity both are one and the same. This must be little bit confusing. Let me explain these duality and singularity.

Humans see everything or feels everything to exist in duality, but in reality it is Maayaa or our imagination. In actuality it is only singularity. Supposing in the wildest example let us take something intoxicating which can be understood by anybody very easily. Opium- This actually a sedative used in excessive dysentery condition wherein they inject Opium enema. This is acceptable. The same opium when taken by individual is considered as banned. Existing object is one but this is taken as bad as well as good. This example can be extended to himsa (torture) and ahimsa (goodself). Supposing a lion is hunting a deer, it is called natures way, on the contrary same deer is slaughtered for food by humans it is called unnatutral. Coming to the case of Paramaatma and Jeevatma. Consider a live example Baloon filled with air. Air existing in this ionosphere can be taken as Paramaatma and air filled in balloon is taken as Jeevatma. You can fill any number of balloons with air and once you let it off it joins the air in the ionosphere thus becomes singular, but in actual existence it is dual. Paramaatma when subdivided into so many Jeevatmas it again exists as Paramaatma and still existing as Jeevaatma. So consider the balloon as our body and the air as Aatma. When the air is filled in the balloon, in the scientific principle that much air must be reduced from the air of the ionosphere. But in actuality it does not. When the air from the balloon is let off to the air in the ionosphere then it has to increase to that extent. It does not happen. This is the basic principle of taking out something from and adding something in the full it remains ever the same without any reduction or addition. This is true with Paramaatma. You can take out any number of Jeevatmas and you can put back any number of Jeevatmas the Paramaatma

remains same without change. This is scientifically proveable by the above said balloon, air and ionosphere experiment.

That is the reason there had been disputes right from ages in the case of duality and singularity existence.

Human had been always interested in knowing the inner meaning of existence which led to splitting of himself. I came across a strong dialogue in some of the books. A policeman catches a motorcyclist being the last day of the year in anticipation of extracting money for an unknown existing rule.

Policeman : Who are you? Motorcyclist: Oh! This is the highest Hindu philosophy I had been asking me for quite sometime. Then motorcyclist asks the traffic policeman Who are You? Policeman : I am a traffic sergeant. Motor cyclist: That is designation. Who are you? Policeman : (He is slightly irritated) and replies I am an Indian. Motorcyclist : I did not ask you to which country you belong to. Who are You? Policeman : Slightly puzzled and he says I am a human being Motorcyclist : I did not ask to which species you belong to. Who are you? Policeman is worried about the mental status of the motorcyclist and he did not ask any further question and let him go scot free.

This is the special and specific question which is haunting us for ages. WHO ARE YOU. We call ourselves as Human, Young man, Brahmin, Engineer, Indian and so on. And when we die the first thing comes to every ones mind be it your near and dear or your worst enemy. How to dispose this body? All distinguishing differentiation dies here, everyone thinks of this as a body otherwise called as Sthoola Sariram, a body which is seen and felt but has limited years of existence. Whereas something in it which prevented it from decaying and being made into a simple term body is what finally we call it Aatma. The minute it leaves your body you are nothing other than a carcass or organic matter which will decay and get consumed from where it has come from i.e. Pancha Bhootham or Five basic elements of the world i.e. Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Aether .

I is that only (Aatma)and not the body what we see day and night and feeling that as permanent existing one. The one you can feel but cannot see and the one which is personified and occupies your whole body that is Aatmaa.

Aatma and Population
This is quite an interesting question. Explanations are aplenty. However the simple one is defined as follows. This can be explained with one of the famous Dhyana mantras, as I know, Om Poornamadha Poornamidham Poornaat Poorna Mudhasyathey, Poornasya Poorna Maadhaya Poornameva Vasishyathey The simple meaning I can interpret in my way is that Even if you take or put something from Full (eternity) it remains full at all times. This is the place I think I should go with Einsteins theory in regard to energy Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but it can be converted from one form into another This is nothing but the law of creation. Replace the word energy with Aatmaa this is beautifully suiting the context.

Further it is clear from the Law of nature that anything exceeds its tolerance level then what you see is large level of destructions be it Tsunami or tornado or fire or explosion.

This justifies the fact that the mass of the earth shall have to remain within a tolerance level so that earth can be in the magnetic field of all planetary movements. So Mass of Aatmaa remains same eventhough number of Aatmaas may differ. This is justified by the evolution of the life from single cell organism. At that time the number were numerous.

For that we can take it in our own fashion. i.e Aatmaa is there for live plants to live human being. The intelligence of plant which is the embodiment of Aatmaa is something entirely different form the intelligence of average human being. That is how you could have heard the word Are you vegetating here? Meaning whether your mental faculties have come to a standstill as for as improvement in intelligence is concerned. This gives the meaning that the intelligence in the plant and in human being is altogether different. This brings another focus into the level of Aatmaa of average human being which is supreme to plant or animals, etc. In addition we use to curse the people who in turn act violently as he is behaving like a bull. This brings out the fact that human Aatma is development of from its lower kind like animals
Page 5 of 11

AATMAAHA JANAAHA
or lowest kind like plants. If this is true then humans Aatmaa must be culmination of one or more of animals Aatmaa or many plants Aatmaa into one animal Aatmaa. i.e. the life cycle formed will be as follows. Many single cell organism Aatmaa turns into One Plant Aatmaa Many Plants Aatmaa turns into One Animal Aatmaa Many Animal Aatmaa turns into One Human Aatmaa This is equally true in the vice versa process. One Human Aatmaa is split into many animal Aatmaas and so on. World equilibrium is maintained in this way eternally.

This can bringforth another question of male spermatozoa. Millions of spermatozoa is available and each one swims and one only goes and penetrates the ovum and becomes a human form ready for further growth. Aatmaa comes into existence only in the 3 rd month of the pregnancy and hence a religious function called pumsavanam is carried out so to say welcoming the Aatmaa. So live spermatozoa is not Aatmaa.

Aatma and Reincarnation
This question is also there time immemorial and everybody is very curious to know about their future birth as well as their previous birth. With lot of Hindu literature mentioning about this my research in this shows following thing. This has been a profound secret even date. With the various interviews with the reincarnation aware humans the following conclusion can be brought out.

Male Aatmaa is born as male only. There could be a dispute that there is no male Aatmaa or female Aatmaa. I will come to that explanation later. In a simple terminology we can say that anybody who was having the male form will reincarnate as male only in the next birth. This is true with female to female reincarnation. What about Hijras. This I will explain you as follows. Every individual has some percentage of both. Only the percentage varies very much. When the percentage of female qualities increases in the man in due course of many reincarnations he is born as hijra. This is equally true with females with higher percentage of male qualities. That is to say that for a change of one gender to another this forms a intermediary by which that these hijras were of different gender in previous incarnation and they are going to be born as another gender in the next incarnation. I use the word incarnation to say the least that every Aatmaa only reincarnates since it does not die. This is the reason many call Aatmaa as gender proof i.e same Aatmaa exists in a male or female or hijra.

As I explained to you in other chapters that reincarnation takes one form or another. This is where the good or bad deeds of individual is attributed to the reincarnation of the next birth; It could be human or animal or even plants. Human being is considered as one in the highest level of development and this when it goes into another form it can either update it to further forms or degenerate into lower categories.

It is practically seen in the streets manytimes in the festival in India mainly women will be possessed with spirits. In the medical terminology it may be termed as abnormal behavior of the human brain, behavior many times like the one who has consumed intoxicating things like hashish, opium which may give hallucinations. I see this in a different angle altogether. When you see it in nature, excepting a few species (May be seahorse and some fishvarieties or male species) all females are invariably sustains and able to go in resonance with more than one Aatma. i.e. Female species bear one or more child in a single pregnancy and multiple Aatmas are in close proximity and being fed from the same the life cycle. Whereas
Page 7 of 11

AATMAAHA JANAAHA
this is not true in case of male species. That means female Aatmas can accept more than one Aatma within themselves. This is how you see invariably in the festivals the women folk are possessed with spirits in another term one more Aatma has entered into their system and they behave as per another Aatmas capability. This brings down further facts that Female species are ready to accept one or more Aatmas and it goes in resonance with the main Aatma. This gives rise to one more suggestion of the birth of eunuchs (Hijras). i.e. The first evolution from lower species to higher species is always through Female to Male only. This is true with humans invariably, sometimes it is seen invariably in plants also. Some plants (Particularly I know about Papaya) do not bear fruits at all. That they may be in the transition stage of female to male variety.

To say in exact terms women body is first in the life evolution cycle of human being who is more tolerant with multiple Aatmas. Subsequently after further acquaintance higher knowledge systems it is born as eunuch with manly body and womanly qualities. Subsequently it turn into man. That is the reason you will see in highest ego in male species be it human or others. At the highest level he is liberated to higher levels where we call it Godly or Saintly characters. In essence female species convert into eunuchs to become men finally as donor of many lives. This should not be misunderstood or confused as male chauvinism. It is only a simple analysis as seen in practice.

Aatma and Quality of Birth
This is another information everyone would like to query into. The amount of development in the previous incarnation is embedded into the Aatmaa quality which is reflected in the next birth. That is what you see practically. The parents may be of poor both in intelligence or otherwise and some times the child may be only one or any number born to them is radically different from them.

Aatmaa as discussed earlier is embedded with earlier intelligence and it transfers the same to the present incarnation. This can be seen with extraordinary quality reflection very early in the life or by some turning point. You can see many times some children may be exceptionally music talented or some other talent wherein in their family ascendent there were nobody whatsoever.

This is true with the quality of life one lead in this life which reflects the quality embedded into the Aatmaa. To simplify it you can take the example like this. Supposing somebody is born in a poor family say a famous actor. He has risen from lowest level to the untouchable level; Still his behavior when provoked will be reflected as a low level urchin. Similarly despite his high thinking still he would like to use all riotous (not Dhaarmic) methods to keep on top. He may be slave to all five senses reflecting himself in deeds like being a drunkard, womaniser, and what not. This same aatma if it had been refined due to attainment of higher knowledge (Gnaana) then despite his level both lowest or highest his behavior will be so much with such poise that one will be surprised. To say in least words in every birth the Aatmaa gets refined and rises to higher level. In the highest level it conjoins the supreme Aatmaa (Paramaatmaa).

Aatma and its Skill
Aatmaa is considered as embodiment of everything. It is only a watch dog, it does not do anything. This is not true. Aatmaa is there in the brain or in the heart or where it is there? This quizzical information is quite interesting. Russian researchers have done the research with dog to find out what happens by creating a death situation and what happens afterwards. From their experiments they have concluded that Aatmaa weighs a few milligrams.

Coming to the positioning of the Aatmaa and its skills it is logical conclusion that Aatmaa is pervading everywhere in the body. This is what is told about DNA. It is said that manytimes a certain disease type is triggered of DNA and hence the children gets the disease personified eventhough parents did not have any of these diseases. That is Aatmaa is ever pervading one which embodies inner organs to external skin. For example if somebody is burnt to death by any means then in his next incarnation he will develop leukoderma or white patches depending on the amount of burning induced death. This is true with those who have been shot dead either by bullet or spear, etc. then in the place where the it was pierced and split will appear in the next incarnation as large black patch or large disfigurement in that particular place. This is true with major operations performed on any organ and this organ becomes a problematic one either malfunctioning or missing and so on. This means that any scar, injury and extraordinary impression created in any part of the body is embedded in the Aatmaa and this is transferred in the next incarnation of the Aatmaa. In medical parlance many times it is said that that particular history in the DNA is activated at certain period of time right from birth to death. This is true with externally applied injury by external

implements which forms the pixel information for the Aatma which is transferred in the next birth. What happens in the nature is not transferred into the Aatma. In the older age one may get white hair, hanging skin or wrinkles, pimples black moles, scars; these are not transferred or embedded into Aatma, only artificially created scars or wounds by bullets, burning or weapons are transferred or get embedded into Aatma.

Aatmaa and Deeds (Karma)

Aatmaa does not do anything. Accepting this fact let us proceed further in regarding to previous birth deeds, this birth deeds and future dependence on these deeds or karmas.
