mission is to create a learning environment where students can achieve excellence and prepare to meet the complex challenges of the global marketplace. Our faculty members work to expand their students knowledge base and to integrate cutting-edge information into their learning experiences.

Our

Distinguished Speaker Series

In a typical year, more than 100 guest speakers visit the Ole Miss business school to share their experiences and insights with our students.

MBA Speakers Edge Competition

The MBA Speakers Edge Competition provides students with an unparalleled opportunity to enhance their public-speaking abilities and learn to adapt their messages for different audiences in front of world-class communication coaches in a competitive environment.

One MBA:Two Delivery Methods

Ole Miss offers an accredited and well-respected program with two flexible formats to fit your personal schedule and needs.

Campus MBA
The campus MBA program is convenient and flexible. While the program is designed to be completed in 12 months by students enrolled full-time and beginning the program in the summer term, part-time options and flexible starting points are also available. All classes are offered on weekday afternoons and evenings on the Oxford campus. The 36-semester-hour curriculum focuses on developing the analytical skills and breadth of judgment that are essential elements of effective decision making in any organization. Instructional methods include lectures, cases, team projects and group presentations.

Alumni Support
Alumni support is a hallmark of The University of Mississippi. Members of the Ole Miss Alumni Association and business school advisory boards can be found throughout the United States and across the globe working in a vast array of professions in all levels of responsibility. This network of business leaders, with whom all Ole Miss students have an instant connection, is one of the most powerful and enveloping of any university in the country.

MBA Mentor Program

Each MBA student has the option to be matched with an MBA mentor. The goal is to provide students with guidance throughout the program, to learn more about career options and to gain a jump-start on establishing contacts in the business world.

World Renowned Faculty

MBA faculty members have won numerous teaching awards and bring innovative methods to the classroom. They are leaders in research and have published extensively in elite journals in their disciplines. Leadership in research enables our faculty to bring the latest in business research and applications to the classroom.

Financial Support
The John N. Palmer Assistantship Program provides financial aid and practical experience to full-time, on-campus MBA students who have excelled in their undergraduate programs and who possess the academic and leadership skills to become successful business executives and entrepreneurs. Honors Fellowships are awarded to a small number of incoming students of exceptional academic accomplishment. The Underrepresented Minority Fellowship Program, which is administered by the Graduate School, is open to people who are members of minority groups that have historically been underrepresented in various graduate education programs.

Professional Online MBA

The Professional Online MBA (PMBA) is geared for the working business person. Our 36-semester-hour Professional Online MBA provides the same traditional MBA curriculum as the campus program but employs alternatively delivered methodologies such as Internet learning systems, telephone conference calls, videoconferencing and interactive CD-ROM/DVD technology. Even if you have a full-time job, the Professional Online MBA is flexible enough to fit your schedule. The program may be completed over a two-year period if a student chooses to take two courses each semester: fall semester, spring semester and summer session. Students also may choose to accelerate that pace or proceed at one course per semester.

Application Requirements
Bachelors degree (3.0+ GPA) GMAT exam (550+ score) Prerequisites: accounting and finance course work Two professional letters of reference Resume 400-word personal statement Professional MBA: two years of work experience
