Patience is an uncommon virtue these days. Were anxious to get where were going or to get what we want. But think how much we miss while wishing we were elsewhere! In our rush to reach a destination, we fail to grasp lessons that can be learned only along the way. What blessings might you be overlooking in the here-andnow and the right-where-youare? Kari Myers

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Dont Miss Your Chance to Bless and Be Blessed...The Needs are Many Nothing But Nets
June/July WMU Project COIN COLLECTION... Our change makes a difference! Malaria Kills....Malaria is particularly devastating in Africa, where it is a leading killer of children. In fact, there are 10 new cases of malaria every second. Every 45 seconds, a child in Africa dies from a malaria infection. Long-Lasting InsecticideTreated Bed Nets Although $10 for a bed net may not sound like much, the cost makes them out of reach for most people at risk of malaria, many of whom survive on less than $1 a day. Nets are a simple, life-saving solution, but we need your help to provide them to those in need. Join us now. Send a net and save a life. Get your container for COINS after church on Sunday.

Many times we are asked, Who is my deacon? To help you, we will list the Deacon of the Week and his list of families in the WLBC Bulletin ENewsletter. There will be a complete list posted on the bulletin board near the church office. This complete list is alphabetical by your last name. We hope this will help you know who your deacon is for the year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office.
Bible Quiz According to the Old Testament book of Hosea, who was Gomer? A. A promiscuous and adulterous woman B. Hoseas wife C. A symbol for Israel, beloved of God despite her sinfulness D. All of the above (See Hosea 12.)
The Winner A father of five won a toy in a raffle. He gathered his young children to ask who should get the present. Whos the most obedient? Dad asked. Who never talks back to Mom? Who does everything she says? Five small voices answered in unison, Okay, Dad, you get the toy.
