Let me give you a quick presentation about the tenegen project and it's results.

1. Dia
The project itself was started in 2005 as a development for the Hungarian Ministry of Education. The training was organized in blended learning form. In 2008 we had the opportunity to renew the original version in the frame of a EU collaboration with 11 partners from 5 countries funded by the Europian Union.. and at the end of it we had the opportunity to appear in online educa as exibithors, where people came from all over the world and they were verey interested in our project. The project was 2 years long and It was closed in last December, but its still running Actually last month we used this course to train 200 teachers, so this projet is still up and running. 4.Dia So the main goal was to create an an online, comlementary training program for teachers to help develop their e-learning competences. Trough web 2.0 tools of course The problem was that the teachers,, not even they dont use the web 2.0 tools they dont even understand it. They dont understand the medium their students are involved. And thats what this course is all about. 5. Dia helps to understand, and use, the web 2.0 tools teaches how to create e-learning contents and how to integrate them into online courses It Offers An online database wher they can upload, and share their e-learing materials And an online community, where thay can collaborate, discuss, and share ideas about their work.

Lets take a look at Tenegen course the course is divided into 5 modules. as you can see. in the first module ...they get familiar with the main concepts, history, standards of e-learning, and they learn plenty of web 2.0 tools. The learn how to navigate in the online environment, they start to communicate online on the forums. in the second one they are dealing with online games, social networks, e-portfolios, and they are motivated to discover how to use these networking tools. the 3th module - In this module We demontstrate the tools for creating, editing multimedia elements, HTML content, but we do not force the participants to create their own multimedia content and how to plan an e-learning classroom event, how to define the learning objectives and choose the components which helps to reach the pedagocical aims. in the 4th module - gives all practical knowledge to create Moodle course, to upload content, to plan an create componets for students' activity (forum, tests, etc.) In this module we ask the teachers to create their own classroom lesson (event), and to try out with their students, and evaluate it against the pedagogical aims. in the last module... TC05- in this module the teachers learn how to create portable package (SCORM/IMS) from the digital content, and how to describe it with metadata, and how to share it with others in online repositories (databases).

7. Dia This course was actually tryed out and tested. the pilot course was in based hungary, it was totally online so nobody had do move anywhere 10 tutors for the teachers and it was 1 year long course

The first, and the main conclusion we had, of the pilot, that it works. Let me show you the results. 8. dia First surprise was that, the teachers were so excited about this whole thing, that after the first lesson, they immediately started to post comments to the forum, and started to collaborate. Hundreds of small e-learning contents were born, a lot of blogs and e-portfolios, and those teachers who went trough the course, most of them have continued their work and remained involved

9. Dia
Only as curiosity i googled Tenegen in the other day, and there happens to be about 36 500 search result, which i think is very big number in the EU projects. (last year it was about 18 000 )

what does it need to be successful. Of curse first we need the content the video tutorials, e-books, presentations, and so on.. this content have to be constantly updated and supervised by a creative team an e-learning portal, trough witch the students can collaborate, discuss opinions in the forum, and of course a moodle course where this whole course runs. its important to have a lots of tutors, there has to be one tutor for every 10-15 student because its a lot of work , tutors have to be there every minute, respond, and motivate the students and push them to do the lessons and the tests. And another thing that needs to this is a mass of students. Because this is the only way to create an online , collaborative community. You can not do that wit just a few.

The methods of course design????? Of course we can take all the experiences of the project, we learned a lot from it and can really help building the sme2.0. And we can use some parts of the e-learning contents for the sme course.

12. Dia
and finally lets see What kind of web 2.0 tools we can teach in the business area. Some parts of tease contents we can transfer from tenegen. Online doc sharing and editing (google docs, Microsoft office web apps) We can teach how social networks can be used for marketing purposes How to do a web meating, (do a presentation via screen sharing) We can teach them how cloud computing works .. how there is no need for saving any files locally Introduce them to CRM and ERP systems and how they can be much more effective with tease then with the old way of collecting and logging information How smart phones can be used for reaching all tease tools
