A freelance journalist with experience across the BBC and commercial broadcasters. Shortly graduating from City University, London. Scoops include exposing irregularities in expenses claims by senior staff in public bodies for the Sunday Times. I reported for the BBC on the work of the All Parliamentary Group on Body Confidence and have interviewed Boris Johnson, Bernard Hogan-Howe, Jon Snow, Jo Swinson MP, Paul Burstow MP, Alan Davies, Tony Robinson, Camilla Long and Toby Young. SKY News- Intern/ Broadcast Journalist September 2012 Previous BBC London 94.9-Freelance Broadcast Journalist, April 2012-present Produced an original story exposing a rift between the Alzheimers Society and providers of facilities for dementia sufferers. It was used across the multimedia BBC London newsroom. Reported on important events, including the Parliamentary launch of an initiative by cross party MPs to target body confidence issues with children, young people and adults. SHELL-Rotterdam Eco-Marathon- Freelance documentary maker, May 2012 Spent three days filming a flagship eco event in Holland with 40,000 attendees to compliment the corporate packages for the SHELL event website. City Offline is the independent, multimedia news service for City University. Interviewed Boris Johnson, Bernard Hogan-Howe, John Battle - Head of Compliance ITN and Film Producers: Lisa Bryer - Last King of Scotland and Dexter Fletcher - Wild Bill. Conducted an investigation (exposing issues among Muslim students and university clergy) that was reported in the local press. Produced content for City Online.
