Super Castlevania War [Name Pending]

Goal of this project To emulate the same type of fan-game that was achieved when Super Mario War was made. A highly customizable arena game with multiple modes and settings. Using a Castlevania style of game that is not unlike Harmony of Despair's versus mode, where the players are put on a map to battle each other using items and attacks spanning the entire series. Gameplay Controls: Directional buttons for movement hold up/down for stairs Button 1 for Jumping hold down and jump for descending platforms Button 2 for Attacking hold up and attack for item use Start button for pause screen Game Modes: Adventure Mode Play a string of multiple stages, all with a set amount of lives that will carry on through the entire adventure. To defeat this mode, you must trek through the stages featured on the map, collect keys to unlock doors to other stages, and eventually defeat Dracula. The types of stages vary, as well as the game mode that the stages feature. Exhibition Deathmatch (name pending ) Simple deathmatch mode, deplete the other players life until they are defeated Life and health limits can be set, as well as attack power Option to disable items Can be played in teams Heart collection Attempt to collect the set amount of hearts faster than your opponents can candles and enemies are the target of this mode option to disable enemies and candles Heart limit to win can be set, as well as starting amounts for each player option to allow players to drop half of their hearts upon death. Boss mode Players try to defeat a boss, a larger enemy with a large amount of life and attack power. Multiple Boss Types Dracula Type: A teleporting boss, who uses projectiles to attack Bat Type: A flying boss not restricted by platforms or tiles, flies around the stage attacking players Monster Type: A slow walking boss, uses close range attacks Life of boss and players can be set, as well as the amount of power the boss possesses. Option to set certain items Option to set the amount of bosses and their sequence

(Simultaneous or one after the other) Castlevania Mode Classic mode, Hordes of enemies appear from offscreen. achieve the high score by killing more enemies than the other players Option to disable items Multiple Enemy Types Zombie A low level, slow moving enemy, damage through touch. Bat A low level, flying enemy, Damage through touch Skeleton Mid level, hopping enemy. Damage through touch and thrown bones. Takes 2 hits to vanquish. Knight high level, slow moving enemy, damage through touch and axes thrown. Takes 4 hits. Option to disable certain enemies Medusa Survival Mode Survive the onslaught of flying Medusa heads flying from off screen. Option to set the Amount of Medusa heads at a time. Loot Mode [wip] Items Utility [wip] Hearts Fuels your item use, stores when collected. Can be found in blocks, candles, enemies, and dropped by dying players. Double Shot Gives you the ability to have two of your subweapon thrown out at the same time. 1-up Adds an extra life or point Invincibility Potion Makes the player invincible for a limited amount of time Roast/Meat Restores Health Sub Weapons [wip] Dracula's Rib A shield you may use to protect yourself from frontal hits. (-0 hearts) Cross A boomerang like item that flies straight ahead, then back towards you. (-1 hearts) Axe A thrown axe that arcs above and hits targets without platform restrictions. (-1hearts) Holy Water A grenade like item that bursts into flame after thrown on the ground, lasting for a second to further burn enemies, and dissuade others from approaching. (-1 Heart) Dagger A fast moving projectile attack. (-1 Heart) Bible Spirals around the user for a few seconds, dealing damage to those it hits. (-5 Hearts)

Diamond thrown to the ground, ricocheting of the surface for a while. (-3 hearts) Music Fires music notes in front of the player, that linger on the screen until they disappear. (-3 hearts) Stopwatch slows down the other players for a limited amount of time. (-10 hearts) Fire Spell A quick spell of fire that shoots fire from the user's hand. This flame is twice as long as the regular weapon length. (-3 hearts) One Time use [wip] Rosary Clears the map of enemies (-0 hearts) Turtle Summon Forms a protective shell around you and deflects 5 hits before going away. (-5 Hearts)

Menu Controls: Directional buttons for selection Button 1 to confirm Button 2 to deselect Skins 2x5 boxes, 10 total. Frames in order: 1. Stand 2-3. Walk 4. Jump 5. Turn 6. Hit 7. Die 8-9. Attack/Throw 10. Weapon (their default) Skins could be customizable and added to the game easily.
