Magnetic Field Sensors: Magnetic field sensors are activated by magnetic fields and are especially suited for piston position monitoring in pneumatic cylinders. Based on the fact that magnetic fields can permeate non-magnetizable metals, it is possible to detect a permanent magnet attached to the piston through the aluminium wall of the cylinder. Magnetic-inductive permaprox sensors made by TURCK operate on a patented function principle. Thus they are capable of reliably detecting permanent magnets of various field strengths on all common cylinder types. They operate completely wear-free and are short-circuit protected; a weld-field immune version for welding applications is also available.
Sensors:
Typical applications for magnetic-inductive sensors include "pig" detection and gate monitoring. Since magnetic-inductive sensors are actuated by external magnetic fields, they are capable of providing large operating distances despite a compact housing design. With the actuation magnet DMR31-15-5, the M12 sensor series features a nominal switching distance of 90 mm.

Sensors: Ultrasonic Proximity Sensors: Ultrasonic sensors use ultrasonic waves for non-contact and wear-free detection of a large variety of objects. It does not matter whether the object is transparent or opaque, metallic or non-metallic, or of liquid, solid or powdery consistence. Environmental conditions such as spray, dust or rain hardly affect their function.
Output: Either Switching or Analogue
Model: DU62AP8X2-H1151, for Reliable detection of single or multi-layer paper, plastic or metal foils. Measuring range: from 20gm paper to 1100gms cardboard.
22
Sensors: Flow Sensors: Calorimetric principle TURCK's flow sensors monitor reliably and wear-free the flow of gaseous and liquid media. The calorimetric operation of the sensors is based on the heat transport/heat loss principle, i.e., when fluid moves over the heated sensing probe, heat is conducted away from the sensor. The heat loss is thus a measure of the flow speed.
There are immersion and inline sensors available which can also be used in explosion hazardous areas according to ATEX 100a. Customer-specific versions with special housing designs, materials and connections are available on request. For Liquid & Gaseous media Immersion sensors (with or w/out integrated signal processor) Inline sensors (with or w/out integrated signal processor) Thermal flow rate sensor for Liquid media(2 switch or switch/current O/Put) The thermal inline flow sensors by TURCK measure reliably and wear-free the flow rate of water/glycol mixtures with an accuracy of 10%. The thermal operation principle of the sensors is based on the cooling of a heated sensing probe, achieved by a fluid motion alongside the probe. The heat loss is thus a measure of the flow speed resp. flow rate.
Twenty First Century Communications, Howrah 23
Inline type
The TURCK Vortex flow meters measure reliably and wear-free the flow rate of water with an accuracy of 2%. Vortex flow meters operate according to the flow separation principle, also known as "Karman vortex". If an exactly defined obstruction is positioned in a (minimum) flow, vortexes separate at a certain frequency (Karman street). The vortex separation frequency detected by the flow meter is the measure for the flow speed resp. flow rate. Vortex type Range: 2~20 LPM, water, Output: PNP NO/NC programmable, (analogue) 4~20mA [Model: FCVI-10R09DYA4P-LIUP8X-H1141] Sensors: Flow Sensors: Magnetic-Inductive principle The magnetic-inductive inline flow meter FCMI by TURCK measures reliably and wear-free the flow rate with an accuracy of 2%. A magnetic field permeating a measuring tube deviates the free charge carriers in the targeted medium to the tube walls. Voltage is created by electrical separation and picked up by two laterally mounted electrodes. The magnitude of voltage depends on the flow rate resp. flow if the magnetic field is known. Thus these flow meter monitors reliably and wear-free the flow of various different liquid media which feature a determined minimum conductivity.
Range 0~40 LPM 0~80 LPM Output PNP NO/NC programmable, (analogue) 4~20mA Minimum Conductivity >10 S/cm (water>15S/cm) 20 S/cm (water >30 S/cm

Sensors: Pressure Sensors: PS500 The Champion The new pressure sensor series PS500 combine high accuracy and excellent performance with simple and safe mounting and operation. The sensors are flexible in use and easy to programme. These instruments offer you, inter alia, some special features: (1) The instruments assembly is suitable for mounting both in vertical and horizontal position; (2) In the pressure-less state, the housing of the PS500... series can be rotated by 360 after mounting - this avoids one practical problem. As you fasten the assembly and firm up the thread engagement, the display may appear in a different viewing angle/direction. In PS500 series pressure instruments you can turn the display to your viewing angle/direction. (3) The read direction of the on-site display can be inverted via software by 180 - this avoids another on site viewing issue. If the instrument be mounted in a horizontal plane. and you are viewing the display from its rear position, (such that you have to read the display as inverted letters) , then you can program the display to be rotated by 180 degrees so that you can now read as you view normally. (4) 4-digit 7 segment display in a patented elevational design [US Patent No. US D551105 S assigned to M/s Werner Turck GmbH. & Co.Kg.] ensures that the display can be viewed clearly from a distance and offers a large viewing angle. (5) Outputs: 1st Channel switching output or IO-Link mode & 2nd channel re-programmable as analogue current output (4~20mA). This means you have the future provision to use it as a switch or a transmitter, or both!

The non-contact sensors of the M18T series are mainly passive receivers. The thermal radiation of an object within a wave length range of 8 to 14 m is transformed into an electrical signal via a thermopile and then conditioned as an output signal. The D:S (distance: spot) ratio, which specifies the measuring field diameter at a defined distance, is important in this context. Optimal configuration is achieved if the measuring field is completely covered by the target surface, the temperature of which is to be monitored

Non-invasive ultrasonic sensors detect liquids through the metal or glass wall of containers or tanks. For this purpose they generate a high frequency ultrasonic pulse the echo of which is detected and evaluated by the sensor. The sensor compares the current echo with the taught curves representing the empty and filled status of the container and sets the output accordingly. Electrical or acoustic interferences or a sensor failure due to insufficient coupling are indicated by an LED and an alarm output. Salient Features: Detection of a liquid from the outside through the wall(1..15mm) of a container (Min. container diameter: 100mm, Max. container diameter in echo model: 2000mm and in reverberation model: any No medium contact, functions just as well with aggressive media as with pressure containers For use with container materials, such as steel, stainless steel & glass Mounted with brackets used for weld or retention strap mounting [Series M30] or with tri-clamp welding or adhesive adaptor [Series T50] Selection of operation mode reverberation or echo Convenient teach-in of filling states via teach adaptor VB2-SP1 or via connection of the teach line with + Available for ATEX Category II 3 G, Ex Zone 2 & ATEX Category II 3 D, Ex Zone 22
