uk
The long awaited Beta launch of www.recforce.com, a cloud based recruitment platform. The new platform has been architected by Carl Holst-Roness, founder and original architect of the offline Mac & PC recruitment platform HRS Lite and HRS pro. Ex Managing Director of recruitment giant ESJ Europe - Eldon Jobe, was brought in to head up the project . London, United Kingdom, June 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Beta launch of the software platform developed by specialist .Net and Drupal Developers, the London based group www.adappt.co.uk. Managing director Jobe explains, The UK recruitment industry alone is worth an estimated 26.5bn annually, and much of this is run by small companies using outlook and spreadsheets to manage their contacts. At ESJ we originally tried to build our strategy around offline software, but offline software has its limitations and team mobility is essential in the modern recruitment world. Our goal has been to build the best recruitment software platform, by combining the speed of an offline app with the mobility and portability of a cloud based app. Carl Holst -Ronnes continues, The original design of the HRS platform was inspired by simplicity, intuitiveness and the need to have a beautiful user interface. This same ethos is at the heart of www.recforce.com The platform aims to address issues of consistent and coherent workflows, as companies expand, new staff arrive and inevitably old staff leave. RecruitmentForce is a Software as a Service product designed to complement the recruitment industry with a powerful recruitment database, filled with a myriad of unique and user friendly features, accessible from anywhere in the world through an internet browser. Using a SaaS model will allow RecruitmentForce to provide a quality recruitment database to the industry at a fraction of the initial cost of an outright purchase. Where previous web enabled products have been reduced to a limited flexibility in order to perform in the internet platform, RecruitmentForce's technology allows for these, once missing features, to now be introduced. RecruitmentForce will not need to compromise any features to achieve it's goal of becoming the No1 player in the recruitment software market. Eldon Jobe who now heads up RecruitmentForce as Managing Director explains, Most recruitment companies start with one or two people who have decided to take the plunge with a LinkedIn account and list of contacts and candidates in their little black book. Initially most of the information will be in the founder's head, but as the company expands, they face problems of coordinating staff activities, managing their own internal staff turnover and even theft of the company database by staff who simply export a list of Outlook contacts before clearing their desks. Our platform addresses all of those issues and aims to make companies long term robust and able to tap into larger revenues, as well as enabling the recruiter to seamlessly linking their ever expanding database with their social network accounts. When Recruitment force was founded in 2010, Eldon Jobe's first role in the company was to raise venture capital investment. So far he has raised 168,000 investment from the North East Proof of Concept fund. He is now in talks with several VC's who are looking to invest a further combined total of 200,000

which will be signed off with the achievement of specific milestones after launch. Each one of these VCs has stated that they will be looking to invest in a further round of funding as RecruitmentForce achieves projected sales targets. Having fired their original software development company. Eldon Jobe goes on to talk about the choice of development partner, The development proved to be a longer and more difficult task than first thought. It is not uncommon for entrepreneurs to get their fingers burnt when working with new technologies. We realised early on our original developers were simply not up to the task, and moved quickly to deal with this rather than settle for a substandard product. Explaining further Jobe details, because in their own minds they knew what they wanted to do and thought creating the technology would be fairly straightforward. However, as they were not simply improving existing technology, but creating new technology it cost a lot more than first anticipated, both in cash and in terms of time spent building the technology. One of the main reasons for the time taken is that, for a while, it did not seem possible to deliver what they set out to achieve, however after painstaking research and early stage development it became apparent that they had eventually cracked the initial problem. This was due, in no small part, to the partnership and integration of the development company adappt Ltd., a company who were so competent and worked so well with RecruitmentForce that it made sense to join forces, rather than start doing a round of recruitment for software developers. Naturally at each stage of development there were more problems to solve, but the merger with adappt Ltd ensured we were able to create new technology to solve each issue as it arrived. The essence of what they have achieved is a methodology and a whole new way to run a recruitment company, using the cloud. Not one single piece of code has been borrowed, it has been totally written from the ground up and has made advances in technology. To the extent that they have created something that no one has managed to do before. Using proprietary coding, they have built an SaaS based platform that turns complex human workflows into one single online software package. The result is saving hours of time by automating tasks, using new and extremely complicated algorithms to create field relationships both within the user's system, but also externally, allowing organic networks of hundreds of thousands of seemingly unconnected users to cross share information. That is to say that although they are different instances on the virtual server and are invisible to one another, they can still cross share valuable data. In doing so they have also created another first, which is allowing both recruiters and HR departments to seamlessly link their data to the ever increasing plethora of social networks. On top of this they have built a module that will enable the user to search multiple, non social media sites in one go. Thus allowing them to organically and virally source talent which would previously have been impossible for them to contact. By building new technology RecruitmentForce has created a system that will work anywhere in the world and will increase a person's chances of getting a job. RecruitmentForce have created a new way for companies to find and source talent and employ the best candidates, therefore they have also created a new way for a candidate to get his or her skill set in front of prospective employers. Eldon Jobe explains that some of the more heavyweight technical issues they had to overcome were due to the fact that the current knowledge out there was not available to tap into, as no one had yet solved these problems, such as; building a private search engine that respects the boundaries of multiple client

domains whilst also being a search engine that respects the overlapping security boundaries and will index the whole system in realtime, without slowing down processes. They also needed to make the product global, enabling multinational organisations to use one piece of software linked to every employee via the cloud. To do this they had to solve the issue of creating a multi-lingual build from scratch. Carl Holst-Roness clarifies, When we first set out to build our product we did so because we saw so many gaps in technology and this was holding the industry back. Recruiters are always keen to move with the latest tools out there, however the technology was not available to enable them to do this. He goes on to say, We did not want recruiters to sacrifice using a rock solid desktop solution in order to get online, our aim was to combine a sleek desktop app with the convenience of being online. We also realise that not everyone uses an iPhone, therefore we had to work out a way to build a completely cross platform app, that is native on every device. During its launch period www.recforce.com is available under a free no-commitment 60 day trial.
