Implementation of company safety policy procedures and co-ordination with all departments such as Mechanical, Electrical and Civil to achieve the high standard safety.

Plan, design, operate and maintain all facilities, processes and procedures to secure sustained Safety, Health and Environmental, protection. I use to consult with safety manager for organizing effective health and safety program.

Also I was involved in safety meetings.

Investigation of accident / incident / fire / near miss to identify the hazards which create the problems same of the unsafe act / condition and its preventive measures.

Use to provide periodic tool-box talk. Regular safety inspection ensuring site safety administration including safety induction, hazard identification plan, emergency procedures Providing of site requirement for drinking water, toilets, dining hall, sick room with first aid amenities etc.

Heavy equipment safety inspection, verification and validating of safety certificates through third party for cranes, trailer, forklift as per company rules and regulations Safety audit of lifting accessories such as slings, D-shackles, pins, man-basket, wire ropes, lifting belts. Controlling the work place hazard by preparing hazard check list pertaining details of existing hazards. Identification of hazards and preventing accidents by ranking the hazards to its risk level.

Check list of work permit system, safety precaution during the vessel entry, hot work, and cold work and energy isolation LOTO activities. Gas testing L.E.L / U.E.L. Oxygen % testing for carryout job in Hazardous / Toxic area as well as tank confined space entry etc. proper arrangement of safety and fire equipments, fire watch during the hot work / vessel entry.

Proper display the safety and fire sign in hazardous / toxic area. No smoking at plant as well as office building accommodations etc. Monitoring the good housekeeping & hygiene at site area to keep the natural environment. Ensured availability of fire fighting Extinguishers where ever necessary and also trained workers for the correct use of the same. Conducted Fire Mock Drill and trained the workers for the Emergency Evacuation Procedure after hearing the emergency siren and conduct head counting of the workers assembled at the Assembly point area.

Co-ordinate with project management to achieve the project goals.
