Self Competition a Key to Success

In His Time He Makes All Things Beautiful Lanchunlu Kamei Many times we come to God with our own agenda and asked Him to give whatever we want, in our own timing and as according to our own plans. Human nature tends to want everything right now. We want God to fulfill immediately what we believe for. Sometimes, God's timing is not the same as our timing. He answers our prayers in His time and works out His purpose in His time. God's timing is amazing and perfect. Today, what do you believe and expects from God? Is it for your job, life partner, financial breakthrough, answers to a new situation or for your dreams to come to pass? Are you waiting for peace and direction? Are you not seeing God's move in your life right now? One of the two possibilities must be considered; either your request are not God's best and will probably not be the right time. You have to understand that God has an appointed time to answer. Don't be discouraged, the answer will come and it will be at the right time. And the good news is, it is not going to be one second late. How are you going to wait? Are you going to wait with good attitude and expectancy, knowing that God has great things in store? Or, are you going to be upset and frustrated complaining why God takes so much time? When will my situation change? When are you going to bring me a life partner? When will my dreams come to pass? We are upset when things don't turn out according to just the way we planned. So, we tried to produce our own result. And the greatest temptation that we have when we are waiting for God's timing is to take things into our own hand. So we should be cautious that if we get out of God's timing, it's the same as getting out of God's will. You need to understand that God has a beautiful plan for you, and if God is to answer your prayers the way you are hoping it could interfere with His ideal plan. Impatience can lead you out of God's will. So be patient, He wants you to trust him, and not be anxious to do things on your own. Put total trust and confidence in Him. Never give up on God. Instead, keep trusting and stay in the attitude of faith. Let God perform His promise in His ways. The Bible says in Isaiah 55:8-9, Verse 8: for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord. Verse 9: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thought than your thoughts. We don't always understands God's method, and His ways don't makes sense to us but we have to understand that God sees the big picture and He knows what he is doing. He will bring the best for you in your due season and no man can keep it from happening. And even when you are in God's timing you can be in the midst of the biggest challenge of your life, but still you will be filled with joy. God will give you the grace you needs if you continue to trust and accept that God is in control. The Lord will make everything beautiful in His time. We should allow Him total freedom to work in our life according to His plan and purpose. We should give God the time He needs to complete the works He wants us to accomplish in our life. In his time He makes all things perfect and beautiful.

God has definite plans for each one of us and He does not want us to develop the mind of hatred and jealousy. Cain killed Abel out of his jealousy and anger on the pretext that God looked with favor on Abel and his offering than that of his offering (as seen in Genesis). If such a sinful mind persist in us, we can never love one another. It is written in 1 John 4:8 that whoever does not love, does not know God, because God is love. Then the question arises, do we really not know God? The answer is simple. We have not seen God but if we love one another God lives in us. What happens when you did your best to compete a topper in your class and you did not succeed? You felt jealous of him or her and thus frustration and discouragement started haunting your mind. Love can never spring in us when we are jealous of our fellow beings. Why did many shocking incidence like bombing, killing, poisoning, etc. took place in our society? It is just because of our hatred jealousy and endless desire for supremacy over other people. In some cases, suicide took place due to the depressed mind caused by the failure in competition with others. But great minded personalities like Isaac Newton and John Embrus Treming have faith in God and they achieved success through self competition. They worked hard single mindedly in a particular field and learnt from their own mistakes. Therefore, it is advisable that we compete ourself and do things today better what we did not do yesterday. Let us inculcate the responsibility of learning from our own mistakes and march towards our goal with love.

The Greatest Christmas Gift Ever Given

Suaihiampou Kamei Christmas is a time when we receive our favorite gift and it is always fun to think back on the favorite gift from years past: your first bicycle, the new car, the beautiful pearl necklace, the talking doll, etc. Christmas gifts can give us memories that last long after we have outgrown the gift itself, long after the gift have worn out from time and repeated use, and long after the novelty of a gift has faded. But the greatest Christmas gift ever given brings a sense of joy and peace and purpose that last forever, and that gift is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the reason for the season; Jesus gave his life for you so that you can know God personally and live with him forever. The Bible says that, While we were yet sinners Christ died for us, (Romans 5:8). That means we don't have to do anything to earn our salvation. Jesus already did it all. Our only responsibility is to believe what Jesus did on our behalf and accept him as our Savior. This greatest gift is available to you right now. But the choice is yours to receive this greatest gift by believing Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your personal savior thus becoming a child of God and a new creation, (i.e. a life free from all sins) or to ignore this greatest gift and continue living in darkness, doing all your old sins and fulfilling the lust of your flesh, at the end result in eternal death. This greatest gift is available to us right now, so let us receive this greatest gift before it is too late, for the Bible says in Psalms 32:6, Seek God while He may be found. So let us seek God today because tomorrow may never be ours. So if you don't know Jesus, pray and receive him as your personal Savior. If you don't know how to pray or if you pray this kind of prayer for the first time, pray in this manner, Dear God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with you, and I want to be right with you. I asked you to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the death, I will be saved, (Romans 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you for the greatest Christmas gift ever! In Jesus name I pray, Amen. May the Lord give us His grace to receive this greatest ever Christmas gift.

We are living in difficult times where our enemy always wants us to abstain from being in contact with our FATHER, the KING. We need to be vigilant and sensitive to the word, and voice of God for it is the life, bread and light of our spiritual life. The book of Daniel cautions us that in the end, the enemy will blocked take away even our daily bread. This talk about the true word of God in our life. We may question why and how. We being a so called Christian aren't a head ache for satan our enemy though is weird to know of the fact. Only when we have that continuous and unbroken relationship with Lord God through Jesus Christ who is our best friend, brother even though He is God. Due to ignorance and foolishness many of today's stiff necked people aren't able to hear the sound of the trumpet that blows, giving direction where to go and cautioning what to do and what not to do in day to day lives. As they fail to hear the sound of trumpet, they wonder themselves here and there and stumbles and perish just like the people of Israel who says they are God's chosen but failed to hear His voice and reluctant to hear obey. As the people of this world continue to go their way, they feel life is all about enjoying God's blessings! But whenever the word of God comes in their life, when the word of God is all about corrections and cautioning they turn violent, hatred spreads and destructions takes place even as the word of God teaches us from the book of Jeremiah. Also in the book of Luke, we see, the people of Nazareth were well pleased of the teachings of the Lord Jesus but time came when His teaching is all about their life and corrections, they drove Christ away even conspiring to finish Him off. These things are happening even in our midst today. It is sad that a true word of God finds no place in the life of today's people! As they continue to disobey, satisfied being a so called Christian, and reject the living word of God, their spiritual life dried up and their relationship with God who love us were broken and finally we can't hear the voice of the Lord even it is all around us. The book of Job encourage us of this how faint the whisper we can hear of Him? for those who spent time with God daily, having that unbroken relationship, the voice of God is like a thunder, huge blast nothing can stop from hearing but for those who didn't spend time with God, it's difficult for them to hear. Every word of God when it comes in our live, there should be a place for it to live. It should be applicable and apply in our daily lives. The book of Jeremiah encourage us that when your word came, I ate them, they were my joy and my hearts delight we are made to be in this and we should be in it. We shouldn't deny, reject and rebel against the word of God for who are we? We are made to obey to His command and all the commands are for our goodness! Every word of command, correction, caution from God should be accepted, applied and be pleasing in our life even if the enemy whisper to reject it. Let us tune ourselves to the word and voice of God that speaks and calls us in our daily lives and obey it even as we ought to. May God help us. In Christ, Daichuipao

Moments at ZCFC Advent Christmas 2011

When celebration is near, how could the ZCFC folks be far ! behind? Everyone came forward to give their best pose! Wow, we are quite a number, arent we? Dichunlung, the Bible Quiz master for the afternoon session, ! at his best! And hey! Blessing managed to get the first prize for Extempore Speech! Congratulation to all the other winners! Oh, Kunglianglu during her angelic rendition, heaven could ! not hold itself and stepped forward for a helping hand with a Nokia Cell Torch as the light went off midway! Indeed Nokias Connecting People took one step further more that day - connects man and God that moment! Thanks Michael for the help! The sisters of 3532 Sec 15D performing a unique fusion ! Rongmei dance with western song! And we all loved it too! Thanks sisters, hope to see more of those in future! Who would not appreciate our mess department for the day? !
