FPGA Implementation of AES Algorithm The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) specifies a FIPS-approved cryptographic algorithm that can be used to protect electronic data. The AES algorithm is a symmetric block cipher that can encrypt (encipher) and decrypt (decipher) information. Encryption converts data to an unintelligible form called ciphertext; decrypting the ciphertext converts the data back into its original form, called plaintext. Tools : Xilinx ISE 13.1 FPGA Board : vertex 5 Human Mishap Positioning System (HMPS) using GSM and Zigbee Technologies HMPS is medical alert system which handles accident or crash situations intelligently. It is an effective way of web based design for medical Alert system and provides high efficiency while enhancing the level of patient care. The technologies GSM, GPS and Zigbee are efficiently used to handle crash situations more carefully and RFID tag is used to send patients necessary info to nearby hospital in order to deliver first aid effectively.
