En pocos aos, Gandia Blasco ha dado un vuelco a este sector con una forma certera y renovadora de entender ese espacio en el que la arquitectura se despliega y se extiende al aire libre. Paisajes amueblados e iluminados desde una ptica rigurosa, esencial, y, al tiempo festiva, refrescante, nueva. Primero fue la serie bautizada como el enclave, Na Xemena. Ninguna familia de muebles de exterior ha sido tan celebrada en Espaa como sta, invadiendo piscinas, gimnasios, habitaciones de hoteles y porches sobre toda la geografa peninsular. Despus lleg la proyeccin hacia el mercado internacional y los trabajos de otros autores: Patricia Urquiola, Francesc Rif, Mario Ruiz. Y, siempre, el trabajo constante, reconocido con un bao de multitudes, de lo que Jos A. Ganda-Blasco disea (Daybed, Chill): ha conquistado nuestras terrazas con camas para descansar al sol, geomtricos doseles y hasta tiendas indias, en un claro alegato de la postura horizontal, del relax absoluto. In only a few years, Gandia Blasco he has overturned the branch in a well-aimed and reformist way of understanding this space in which architecture unfolds and expands into the open air. Landscapes furnished and lighted from a rigorous, essential view, festive, refreshing, and new at the same time. First, there was the series named after the enclave, Na Xemena. No other family of outdoor furniture has been celebrated like this in Spain. It invaded swimming pools, gyms, hotel rooms and porches all over the peninsula. Then the door was opened to the international markets and to the work of other authors: Patricia Urquiola, Francesc Rif, Mario Ruiz. And always with a constant work, recognised with walkabouts, with what Jos A. Ganda-Blasco designs himself (Daybed, Chill): He has conquered our terraces with beds to rest under the sun, geometric canopies and even Indian tents, in a clear argument in favour of the horizontal position, of total relax.
