The ability of man to believe lies not in his capacity to reason or rationalize.

Unbelief is a matter of the heart. And the crisis of man’s heart is not in unbelief; rather it
is one of corruption.

In 1997, on a cold and brisk wintery day, a preacher was delivering a sermon to a
rather large congregation somewhere in the south. The church which stands on about
twenty acres of land was infamous for having a large membership. On this particular day,
the crowd was a mix of men and women from all particular backgrounds.

When you believe there is no God - you believe in the non-existence of God.
Your beliefs of the non existence of a God and your unbelief in a God are
based on evidence not proof - so it would appear - you want to believe in the
non-existence of a God and you don't want to believe in a God.
It is your desire from your heart. Your hearts avails your beliefs.

A person who believes in God believes in God because of faith. Any reason and logic
presented to them that denies that premise doesn't sway them. They believe it because it
is in their heart to believe it.

The mind presents the choices the heart is predisposed to choose.

The mind only makes opportunities available the hearts desires.

Bridges.

The ability to believe is not wrapped up in the reason. Two people can be faced with the
same reasons to believe and one may not believe. Same reasons - same rationale - but
unbelief. Why?
Some other factor other than reason and rationale....

The mind will build rational to what it believes.

It can believe the bible is mythical and look for ways to build its reason for that belief.

What I have said is that it doesn't matter about the ability to rationalize or reason. You
will believe what you can believe. If it is all based on reason and rationality, then why do
people believe different things when faced with the same evidence and reason? You are
using reason now to try to convince or make a point. But there are still people who use
reason who will not believe you. True or untrue? If that is true, then reason and rationality
has little to do with why we can believe.

Matthew 12:35
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil
man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Matthew 15:19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false
witness, blasphemies:

Notes:
What you are saying you believe it to be true or you would not be telling me, I think.
Your point is that what I have said is incorrect. Truth is not absolute in your opinion.
Again, you believe that to be true, right (excuse the pun)? Do you believe that to be true
only in certain contexts or true all the time? When wouldn't "Truth is not absolute" be
true. And if it would be not true at some point then it would make my statement true and
my statement would sustain itself being it states it is 'absolute' – never changing. It would
then make your statement never true because my statement would always be true (never
changing). So if your statement is true only in context then it is never true.

Truth is absolute.
True is the absolute characteristic of truth in the present.
False is the contradiction of true in the present.

Anyone who denies this affirms it by there denial.

When you say my statement isn't true, you affirm your statement to be true. And you
believe it to be true all the time without ceasing, right?

Book:

Establish reason and rationale

-reasons are the evidence you use to affirm your beliefs. You need to honor them.
-If asked why you believe something, you will offer me your reasons.
