Ladies and Gentlemen, My name is Jeff Galligan, your stage director. We met at auditions and Im very grateful that you have accepted roles in On the Twentieth Century! Below are a few notes to help decipher the rehearsal calendar above.

Calling this a whirlwind rehearsal schedule is like calling Everest a big mountain. I know that you have been encouraged to arrive off book. Believe me, anyone who actually does so will save this show boatloads of time. Those who do not will cost the show and equal amount of time and cost themselves stress and worry. Abbreviations, above include: B = Blocking of Dialogue. S = Musical Staging. Princ. = Principle. For the purpose of our schedule, Principle is defined as anyone speaking dialogue. I will include a breakdown by page numbers below. Musical numbers involving primarily leading characters will be staged at the 2-5 rehearsals. The following ensemble numbers will be SKIPPED at weekday, 2-5 rehearsals: Stranded, the On the Twentieth Century portion of Saddle Up, Together, Finale Act I, Finale Act II. Please consider yourself (whether you are a leading role or in the ensemble) included in the call for all weeknight, 6:30-9:30 rehearsals as well as Saturdays, 2-5 and Sundays, 25. I KNOW that people will occasionally have their time wasted as a result of this, but, on this tight a schedule, we have to have access to you at these times.
