Maiocco called the Twenty-Fourth Regular Meeting of the Medford City Council to order at 7:00 P.M at the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, Medford City Hall.

The Records of Meeting of June 12, 2012 were passed to Councillor Camuso MOTIONS, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS 12-499-Offered by President Maiocco Be it Resolved that the Medford City Council commend and congratulate Rev. Patrick McLaughlin on his 36 years of service to the parishioners of Saint Josephs Parish and wish him a healthy and happy retirement. 12-494- Offered by Councillor Lungo-Koehn Be it Resolved that the City of Medford upload all budget related items, documents, paperwork, facts and figures to the City of Medford's web page.

12-495-Offered by Councillor Penta Be it Resolved that a representative from the Mass DOT appear before the council to explain the Cradock Bridge repair schedule. This is the second request. 12-496-Offered by Councillor Penta Be it Resolved that the City accept a September " Turn the Towns Teal" for the benefit of making aware that September will be Ovarian Cancer awareness Month. 12-501June 14, 2012 To The Honorable President and Members of the Medford City Council City Hall Medford, MA 02155 Dear Mr. President and City Councillors: I respectfully request and recommend that your Honorable Body approve the following transfer: $241,512 to be transferred from Sewer Retained Earnings to Account 610-440-5850- Sewer Vehicles $23,492 to be transferred from Water Retained Earnings to Account 620-450-5850 -Water Vehicles This amount is needed to purchase two F150s ($23,492 each) for the Water & Sewer Departments and one Jet Truck ($218,020) for the Sewer Department. Quotes for these purchases are attached. Commissioner of Pubic Works, Jack Buckley is present to answer any of the Councils questions regarding this matter. The remaining balance in Sewer Retained Earnings after this transfer will be $3,624,282 and the balance in Water Retained earnings after this transfer will be $2,023,219.
