This summer sure started out with a bang! We just nished our
Inside Out Local Mission Week and had a great and productive time. Last week a group of 7
th
&
8
th
graders had a wonderful and spiritually rejuvenating time at camp in Prescott and the high
schoolers are looking forward to the same next week.
In addition to camps and mission work we typically beat the heat during the summer with a trip to
Sunsplash and pool parties. Be on the lookout for more information on Sunsplash (July 11
th
, the
Wednesday of VBS). With regard to our pool parties, we are scheduling three pool parties on
Sunday evenings from 4-5:45 p.m. on the following dates:
June 24
th
-6, 7, 8
th
grade only
July 8
th
-High schoolers only
July 29
th
-combined MS and HS pool party
If you would be interested in hosting one of the above pool parties, please
reply to this email or let Travis or Katy know. Hosts are simply responsible
for providing a pool and a bathroom. Students will bring snacks and drinks
to share.

10 A.M. Report Class Begins
New Study with Artie Eaves!!
On July 8
th
, we will be starting a new study
called The One True God. It is a topic that
I am very excited to explore with you. In
this study, we will look at numerous
attributes of God and look at the scriptural
basis for those attributes. It will be
challenging and will likely last through the
summer. There is an excellent workbook and, yes, those who
really want to get the maximum benet from the class will need
to do a little homework. At times, what you will learn may really
surprise you. However, at the end of the study, you will know
God better than you ever have before. You will also have
created a wonderful resource (the workbook) which contains the
scriptural foundation for understanding God and knowing Him
better. I feel condent that this will be a very rewarding time
together. I hope to see you in the 10 A.M. Report on Sunday,
July 8
th
, at, you guessed it, 10 a.m.

We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which
you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your
information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear
from everyone!
Communion/Lords Supper
All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion.
If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you
are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as
they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while
it is in front of them before passing it along.
Offering
In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an
act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time
specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving
as you are led.
Nursery
We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the
north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
