Get in a patriotic spirit cooking 4th of July goodies, making a craft for the 4th and listening to a choir sing patriotic songs. Join our volunteer campers every Monday morning for crafts. We are having baseball mania week. We are featuring baseball bingo, Wii baseball, a visit from Fred Bird, spin baseball and attending a Cardinals game. Celebrate summer by attending our potluck luncheon. Visit our community garden on Wednesday mornings and try your hand at gardening. We are going to the Muny to see the shows this summer! We have a limited number of tickets this season so please note that there is a special registration for the Muny. The shows are listed with a place to put 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th choice for which show you would like to see and the registrations will be handled on a rolling admission for all Muny performance in the month of July instead of each single performance. 7/2 Fourth of July Craft Make a holiday craft to celebrate the Fourth. 7/3 Cooking class We are cooking something cool for the Fourth of July 7/3 Scrapbook club: Scrapbook club meets the 1st Tuesday evening of every month. Bring your photos or other momentoes and use the scrapbooking supplies. We will work on summer/travel themed pages. 7/5 Rivers Edge Choir- Listen to patriotic songs to help celebrate the 4th of July. 7/5 Garden Club Everyone is gardening at different times so lets get together and meet in SAS to do a garden project and learn some gardening tips.. 7/6 Movie The movie is Standing Firm; a story of a family and their trials and strength. 7/7 LEADD Play- Come see friends perform a play on stage at the Community College at no cost! Meet at the flagpole to caravan at 10:00 or go to St. Charles Community College Social Science Building Auditorium. 7/9 MunyWe will be seeing Disneys Aladin. Meet at the flagpole to caravan at 6:00p.m and expect to be back late; close to 11:00p.m. 7/9 Cooking class Make and sample fruit smoothies and homemade granola bars then bring the recipe home to try it on your own.

7/13 Movie The movie is Little bit of Heaven ; a romantic comedy. 7/13 Birthday Party Celebrate all July Birthdays; tonight will feature an ice cream bar. 7/15 Potluck luncheon Immediately following Church Service celebrate summer in SAS with St. Lucas UCC volunteers. Each home will bring a dish to share. 7/16 Muny Dreamgirls is being performed tonight. Please bring your own money for snacks. We will meet at the flagpole at 6:00p.m. and leave by 6:15. Expect to be home late; close to 11:00p.m. 7/17 Volunteer club at the Food Pantry Tonight we are working at the food pantry grouping/bagging items for those in need of food assistance. Harvester Christian Church is at the intersection of Hwy 94 and Jungs Station. Follow us from the Emmaus flagpole at 6 p.m. or meet directly at the church, near door # 5, at 6:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join the volunteer club at anytime. 7/20 Movie The movie is Billy Madison; a comedy about an heir who must go back to school to receive his windfall. 7/20 Movie In Watch a new release on the big screen. Refreshments will be served.

7/21 Tennis-Tennis anyone! Learn and play the game. 7/22 Mastodon State Park- Explore the park and visit the museum and bring a sack lunch and drink. 7//23 Muny We will be seeing Joseph and the Amazing Dreamcoat. Meet at the flagpole to caravan at 6:00p.m and expect to be back late; close to 11:00p.m. 7/25 St. Charles County Fair Be prepared for field-like walking conditions and lots of interesting sights and smells! Meet at the main campus flagpole at 5 p.m. to caravan or at Rotary Park in Wentzville at 5:30 p.m. ( youll be getting a map) . Wednesday is Senior Citizen Day so tickets are $5.00 for seniors (60+) or $ 10.00 for adults which includes parking, carnival rides and entertainment. BRING CASH including money for dinner; expect carnival style food like corn dogs and snow cones and for your entrance ticket. Suggested amount is $20-$25 each depending on if you are a senior. 7/26 St. Louis Cardinals game Lets watch the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball. Bring money for lunch and snacks. Meet at the flagpole at 10:00 to caravan. Remember sunscreen. If you are driving remember to bring cash for parking. 7/26 Garden Club Everyone is gardening at different times so lets get together and meet in SAS to make a garden project and learn some gardening tips. 7/27 Movie the movie is The perfect game. It is the story of nine boys, their love of baseball and their journey. It is based on a true story. 7/28 KickballLets play some kickball!!!! 7/23 Muny We will be seeing Pirates. Meet at the flagpole to caravan at 6:00p.m and expect to be back late; close to 11:00p.m. 7/31 Ice Cream soda social- Come to chat while you sip a yummy ice cream soda.
