Individuals who have made outstanding contributions to help animals in need were honoured at the BC SPCAs 2012 annual awards dinner on June 1 and at the societys AGM on June 2. Welcome to Anna Terebka, who joins the society as the new manager of our Prince Rupert Branch. Anna comes to us with a background in forest resource management. While working for the Ministry of Forests and Range, Anna was responsible for the administration of forest tenures and forest stewardship plans in Mackenzie, B.C. Congratulations to Colby OFlynn, who has been appointed as the new branch manager in Quesnel. Colby has been with the society since 2010 and we are pleased to promote her to her new management role. Sarah Thompson joins our North Cariboo Branch as assistant branch manager. Sarah will be working closely with interim branch manager Debbie Goodine as they oversee the societys operations in Prince George during manager Angela McLarens maternity leave. Lori Dick has joined our revenue development team as development ofcer, corporate relations. Lori comes to us with many years of
not-for-prot experience and will be managing the corporate relations portfolio while Lisa Richardson is on maternity leave. We wish Lisa and Angela all the very best during their maternity leaves.
