Population Control (Freedom to Breed is Intolerable)

The problem of population control is a very serious and frightful issue. Asking any loving parent what their thoughts are, if they were told they were not allowed to have children, will surely receive no unexpected response. Less the heartfelt details and description. However, if the path that this freedom puts us on, as a global whole, leads our future generations to doom and suffering, then such decisions sound more selsh and deserving of more prevision. The downfalls to such large communities that we have is becoming much more apparent. Seemingly endless lists of horrifying characteristic to our survival are being written and talked about. 1) First, the way our animals are being cared for and treated is unacceptable. I am not at all a vegetarian, but this detail alone has given me enough reason to put down my bacon fork, and in fact, has had the ham removed from our last thanksgiving dinner table (Luckily, my brother has another family dinner to attend, so did not mind). 2) Much of the meats and animal products we consume have considerably less health benets than rst stated. Combined with the exploitation of Fast-food establishments readily accessible on every corner, a problem is not difcult to notice. 3) Our issues with Homelessness and Poverty is, if not directly related to population and resource concerns, an indication that our civilization is not capable of providing care to these, and all, Earthly creators that deserve much better living conditions. Deforestation, pollution, war, mistreatment. The list does extensively continue. I agree that there are issues with population that need to be addressed and actively participated in. Much like our environmental challenges, a fearful future would be one where population is an even larger problem that would require immediate action. Most likely action that would be unfavorable to many, whatever actions those might be. I am denitely on the side of the people. Having a 6 mouth old niece is a beautiful experience. Just to watch her faces and movements. I would not want to deprive that wonder. Mistreatment is not the way. Coercion does seem to work, but a threat guided future is not one I would like to see. Informed and responsible decisions could likely be a peaking point to our population growth problems. At one time maybe but regardless of the outcome, stealing from a small shop keeper I would never do. Knowledge and responsible choice is the key.

Human Rights (Tragedy of Freedom in a Commons)

Just like any gathering of people balances and amplitudes are varying. The more people that come the louder and more out of control the atmosphere becomes. Without the measurable amount of order that humanity has obtained over the years much of our progress and works of art would not have been possible. Like most nondestructive projects, groups of people cooperating is essential to acquiring the outcome. Erecting a tall building, maintaining a large farm land; much like rowing a multi-paddle boat, working together is a requirement. In the communities that we have come to know now, structure is a necessity for many reasons. Simply to continue by upholding our current accomplishments requires structure. To provide safety and supplies structure is needed. The concerning side effect to this order however, is what about when there is too much structure? When people get turned away from resources that they should rightfully be able to access. When pain and suffering get overlooked or neglected in favour of furthering another desired agenda. The order that these people turned to for benet has then stripped them of being able to choose at all! In terms of preserving our wonderful planet in a state that is clean and able to ourish for all of its creators certain actions and activities need to be off limits. Mindless, unnecessary pollution and animal cruelty need improvement and to be limited. With excessive rules the risk of an extremely narrow, no choice, path become very present. The rule makers and enforcers need to be carefully pick and supported and need be truly innovative.
