An efficient transportation system with High Speed train favors many changes and most of them are positive The investment in High Speed Train will impact the growth of national as well regional economic development, due to reduction of travelling time and more efficient transportation The benefits of High Speed Train Project Jakarta Surabaya: increase economic growth and trading due to increasing of people movement and regional development decreasing of cars or petrol usage, and resulting improvement of environment population centralized in the Jakarta metropolitan area will be distributed to some suburbs railway operation and related business revenue time saving value fuel cost and energy reduction by passenger modal shift from air/road to rail enhance freight transportation capacity in existing lines
